MRE: WATCHING THEIR TINY HEADS EXPLODE

Actually, it’s fun to cruise along the Konservative Bloggers sites in Minnesota. I find it entertaining. The whining, the crabbing, the bitching…It’s just fun! They gossip about rumor control over Barack Obama, or they hen-peck Minnesota Secretary of State, Mark Ritchie on this US Senate Recountgate thing.

It’s a bit like tolerating your Mom who won’t shut up when she found that joint in your jeans pocket. It isn’t bad enough that you were too stoned to remember rescue your doobage before throwing the jeans into the laundry; its the continued bitching a week later about the horrors of chemicals used as pesticides on pot from third world countries, lung cancer and the famous “soft drugs lead to LSD”.

The Power Line Blog is such a place. The past four days, nothing has been blogged but bitching about Obama’s election, the horrors that Obama could be, nay…”might be” meeting with Hamas, or this complaint here:

Our Dartmouth correspondent reports from Hanover that the students appearing in the video above marched to Dartmouth President Wright’s house on the evening of November 4 and screamed until he came outside in his pajamas to give a speech. She adds:

On the day of the election, the college Democrats covered literally every inch of every sidewalk on campus with stuff like “Your ballot should look like this” and then a drawing of a ballot with Obama/Biden, Hodes, etc. checked off. And they put yard signs on the Green, which is not allowed, and stickers in the halls and bathrooms of all the dorms and buildings including the library, which is also not allowed.

Ah, the wonders of “diversity” in the Ivy League!

The video Scott, the author, is talking about can be seen here:

Yes, that’s right boys and girls: Scott Johnson, from the Power Line Blog, is complaining that there are far too many white kids who go to Dartmouth. That whole “diversity” thing is thrown out because Dartmouth is apparently a mecca for America’s “Great White Youth”.

Mr. Johnson seems to be disgruntled that Dartmouth students weren’t stuffing their fists deep into their pockets, grumbling and crabbing because John McCain didn’t win. Since these ‘bleach white” Dartmouth students didn’t go out and vote for Sarah Palin, they deserve to have the race card punked against them.

You see what I mean? Entertainment!

Michael B Brodkorb over at that pathetic gossip-blog “Minnesota Democrats Exposed” wrote:

COMING TOMORROW ON MINNESOTA DEMOCRATS EXPOSED: WHO IS MARK RITCHIE? A COMPLETE BACKGROUND

Tomorrow on Minnesota Democrats Exposed, I will be publishing a detailed post all about Secretary of State Mark Ritchie and his hyper-partisanship. Think of my post as Mark Ritchie for Dummies.

No blogger or reporter in the entire world has written more posts or stories about Ritchie than me, so please check back to Minnesota Democrats Exposed.

We’ll have to check back with Mr. Brodkorb. Afterall, curious minds demand to know every inch and moment of Mark Ritchie’s life. I mean, Ritchie’s a liberal for chrissakes! There has to be TONS and TONS of information worth studying and blogging about!

The entire blog entry, if it even appears, will be slanted towards suspicion, hatred and will demand Ritchie’s head be put on a pike. …It’s what they always do!

They’re in the minority, and they just can’t come to accept that the majority of Americans thinks they’re all a bunch of wack jobs.

Homophobia: Christian Hate Services begin at 8:00AM!

First Baptist Church, Dallas Texas has Sunday Services all lined up!

fbdgay1matthew_shepardI can’t imagine the thrill it will be for tomorrow’s services. Moms and Dads throughout the Dallas metro area are tucking their kids into bed tonight promising a lively Hate-Fest in Church Services tomorrow. Sunday School Services will undoubtedly teach the heroism of Matthew Shephard’s murderers Aaron McKinney and Russell Henderson. I’m sure they’ll have hymns they’ll sing praises milkmosconeslainpaperhonoring Dan White who mudered San Francisco’s Mayor George Mascone and San Francisco Supervisor Harvey Milk. (Since it was a double-murder, they’ll probably feel compelled to sing all four versus from the hymnal.) And I’m sure they’ll have offering services for Brandon McInerney’s legal fees for murdering 15-year old Lawrence King by shooting him assasination style – right in the center of the back of the head. Then their Sr Pastor Robert Jeffress will undoubtedly stomp up and down the platform yelling and spewing God’s alleged hatred for gay and lesbian folks everywhere.

b-host-ptvThat’s right people… Be aware! God hates you and He hates it if you fall in love with someone of the same sex!!

So much hatred from God — then what’s the fucking point in worrying about what God thinks?!” <shrug> That’s my thoughts on the topic. “If God’s going to Hate me because I’m gay…Then I guess it’s God who has the problem. And yeah, Pastor Jeffress definitely has a problem.

Pastor Jeffress won’t talk about God’s Love and how we’ve been blessed as His Children. But he will take the time to scream and yell his personal hatred towards gays and claim that it’s really “God’s Hatred”.

Homophobia is not Okay, Pastor Jeffress.

MRE: Another Lawsuit from Coleman: Please, Let me Win!

It’s shameful, I know! But it’s what you get when you’re dealing with a Republican. They can’t be faulted, nor are you allowed to tell them they’re wrong. Meanwhile, they’ll do anything, including whoring out their wives to Iranian businessmen to keep in power, to be kept in fancy suits and to continue to kick our children in the teeth when it comes to health care.

This re-count stuff isn’t about Minnesota for Norm Coleman. It’s all about Norm Coleman!

Norm, who used to be useful to Minnesota, when he was a Democrat, has turned into the hateful drunken old man who’ll file frivolous lawsuits just to keep in power. It’s disgusting.

(“Drunken old man”, I know, I know. One of Coleman’s favorite restaurants has a server who’s a friend of mine. Coleman’s drink of choice: “Gin and Tonic…Just burn it.”)

Courtesy of Aaron Landry @ MNPublius, Team Franken has released a press statement:

COLEMAN CAMPAIGN TRIES TO DISENFRANCHISE MINNESOTANS

Another Coleman Lawsuit Makes It Clear: Norm Coleman Doesn’t Want All The Votes To Be Counted

__________________________________

Saint Paul [11/08/08] – In a shameful effort to deprive Minnesota voters of their civil rights, the Coleman campaign today went to court in an attempt to block 32 absentee ballots from being counted.Communications Director Andy Barr:

“Our position is simple: Count every vote fairly. Ever since the routine process of canvassing to ensure that every vote is counted began, the Coleman campaign has been attempting to obstruct it. And, in typical fashion, they have now gone to court to shut down the count. This stealth attack on an early Saturday morning is a disgusting attempt to disenfranchise voters who did nothing wrong, and we will fight hard on behalf of Minnesotans who deserve to have their voices heard.”

Anyone surprised? These people are shameless.

Shameless indeed. A copy of the injunction (PDF) can be seen here.
norm-coleman
This picture came from my friend Tilde… She’s so hot. If she were a guy, I would totally make out with her.

But wait! Hark!! Do I hear the words from Norm Coleman’s camp speaking?! Of course I hear them… Norm Coleman – is suing because he’s “protecting” the Minnesota voter!

At first, he complained that this recount was a waste of taxpayer money. Then he files a lawsuit against Al Franken for the media’s discovery of Norm’s wife taking money from Iranian businessman, and now he’s filing this lawsuit because “HE LOVES US MINNESOTANS!!!”

From the Neocon’s castle come Michael B. Brodkorb, their court jester:

COLEMAN FOR U.S. PRESS RELEASE: “AS THE FRANKEN CAMPAIGN AND ITS OUTSIDE GROUP SUPPORTERS ATTEMPT TO UNDERMINE THE CANVASSING PROCESS, THE COLEMAN CAMPAIGN SEEKS TO PROTECT MINNESOTANS’ LEGAL RIGHT AND PRESERVE AN ORDERLY PROCESS TO ENSURE THAT EVERY LEGAL VOTE IS PROPERLY COUNTED”

ST. PAUL – The Coleman for Senate Campaign released the following statement today after it became evident that Franken Campaign and outside groups attempt to improperly influence canvassing process.

Campaign Manager Cullen Sheehan:

“Not content to allow the recount process to move forward as prescribed by law, the Franken Campaign and its supporters are attempting a campaign of undue influence. The increasing questions about unexplained and improbable shifts in vote counts, coupled with Franken Campaign antics over the past 24 hours, compelled us to seek legal action to protect the rights of Minnesota voters. We had an election. Senator Coleman won. And we now must have a legal and transparent process conducted in the light of day – and that is our goal and intent.

“Late last night, after another unexplained shift in votes occurred when the Secretary of State’s Office closed, new ballots have suddenly appeared from a heavily Democratic precinct. These ballots have been unsecure since the election, yet the Franken Campaign is demanding they be stuffed into the ballot box, attempting to change a vote count that was already finished. Minnesota election laws provide specific rules for reviewing and counting ballots. Today’s legal proceeding is an effort to ensure that a transparent and orderly process be in place. The Franken Campaign should be joining us in this action, not seeking to push the process outside the bounds of the law.”

Huh?! They won?!? What did they win?! By Minnesota law, the only thing they won was a recount of the votes!

And don’t you just love that last sentance there? “Franken you see, should be joining us in this action…by just saying Norm Coleman won.”

What a bunch of pompous ass-hats.

Norm Coleman doesn’t understand. The people of Minnesota elected Secretary of State, Mark Ritchie to do his job. He, and all of the election officials are doing a bang-up job as best they can. But Norm doesn’t see it that way. In a vote that triggers a Minnesota Law to recount the ballots, he whines that it’s a waist of taxpayer money. And now, he’s filing lawsuits to keep ballots from being counted…at the taxpayers’ expense.

Disturbing: Cindy and Megan McCain with US Senator Lindsey Graham

What’s going on with the GOP?! Alaska’s governor has been shipped back courtesy of the Alaskan Iditarod and Princess Sparkle Pony is holding a photo-fest of kink and bizarre

cindymccain102708acindymccain102708bcindymccain102708c1

graham_bottom1The entire mental image of Lindsey Graham (R-SC) doing some menega’ a’tois is bothersome at the least. Except of course, if you’re gay. Rumors about Lindsey Graham, a life-long bachelor, being gay has been around for a while now. So, hanging with his gal-pals who are still in the bathrobes might be kind of normal for all of them.

Let’s not forget that the Republican Party is filled with Closet Queens.

Check out all of those pills on the table!! Isn’t Cindy McCain a drug addict?! I can’t keep up with all of these “Republican Family Values” crowds anymore.

Fox News: Sarah Palin – Dumb as Soup

sarah-palin2The GOP’s youngest and brightest stars shine through the foggy gaze of their geriatric seniors. Just a few months ago, Fox News was gushing over Palin, her beauty and her experience as an “executive” – albeit for less than eighteen months.

On August 29th, Carl Cameron from Fox News wrote about Palin:

Palin brings to the Republican ticket a resume that challenges conventional wisdom while it plays into the party’s conservative base. Palin is, among other things, a former beauty queen, a mother of five, an abortion opponent, a union member, hockey player and moose hunter. She is said to be a reformer who takes pride in standing up to the “good ol’ boy network,” and she has served as the top ethics watchdog in her state.

“I would be honored to serve next to the next president of the United States,” Palin said after joining McCain, his wife Cindy and daughter Meghan on stage. “To be chosen is a great challenge. I know that it will demand everything I have to give and I promise nothing less.”

Cameron can’t gush enough over Palin, her qualifications and her bio. And when Team Obama responded, Cameron was quick to point it out:

The tone contrasted with that of a more-critical statement issued earliar in the day by an Obama spokesman questioning Palin’s experience.

“Today, John McCain put the former mayor of a town of 9,000 with zero foreign policy experience a heartbeat away from the presidency,” spokesman Bill Burton said.

After rambling on about Palin’s selection, the secrecy behind the decision and how Governors Tim Pawlenty (R-MN) and MItt Romney (R-MA) were skipped over – Cameron goes on gushing:

Palin is well received among both economic and social conservatives. She is quoted saying in 2002 that she is as “pro-life as any candidate can be.” The Club for Growth, a government spending watchdog, described Palin as a “genuine reformer.”

“At a time when many Republicans are still clinging to pork-barrel politics, Governor Palin has quickly become a leader on this issue,” said Club for Growth President Pat Toomey. “She is a principled reformer who understands how badly wasteful spending has marred the Republican brand.”

But that was then, and this is now. Carl Cameron is live on Fox News pointing out that Sarah Palin, Alaska’s finest governor, is actually, dumber than a pail of nails. In an interview with Fox News’ Shep Smith:

Carl Cameron talking to Bill O’Reilly just now on Fox reveals that McCain aides were truly “shocked” at the “gaps in knowledge” Sarah Palin displayed once they were stuck with her. He said that, in the most startling shortcoming, she actually didn’t “understand that Africa was not just a country, but a continent.” This led, among other things, to her asking how, in that case, South Africa could be a separate country. She also could not name all of the countries in North America, he said, not even the NAFTA partners. And she did not know many of the basics of civics and local/state/national duties. O’Reilly pooh-poohed all of this.

I’m guessing that Bill O’Reilly pooh-poohed all of this because he didn’t know Africa was a continent and remains confused about South Africa being a country to this day! But, I digress. Please! Let the “GOP Love Fest” continue!!

But the “gaps” explain, Cameron said, why tensions erupted as McCain aides were truly alarmed by all of this — yet Palin wanted to speak out freely. So in the closing week or so, they reveal, she took to yelling and screaming at aides over her press clippings, even “tossing papers” around. She was so out of touch she actually refused coaching before the Katie Couric interviews, then yelled at staffers for not preparing her better or warning her off the interviews. “Temper tantrums,” etc. Then there were the clothes bills and greeting McCain aides in a bath towel….UPDATE: Anchorage Daily News asks her to confirm above, she refuses to discuss it at all.

Below is an earlier Cameron interview on Fox today. Shep Smith at least asked, how could they name someone as veep who didn’t know that Africa is a continent? — Greg Mitchell

The “wearing only a towel” caught the attention here at Fruit Fly central. Huffington Post has that story:

At the GOP convention in St. Paul, Palin was completely unfazed by the boys’ club fraternity she had just joined. One night, Steve Schmidt and Mark Salter [Senior McCain Aides] went to her hotel room to brief her. After a minute, Palin sailed into the room wearing nothing but a towel, with another on her wet hair. She told them to chat with her laconic husband, Todd. “I’ll be just a minute,” she said.

It was only two weeks ago that McCain aides were complaining she was a Diva!

“She is a diva. She takes no advice from anyone,” said this McCain adviser, “she does not have any relationships of trust with any of us, her family or anyone else. Also she is playing for her own future and sees herself as the next leader of the party. Remember: divas trust only unto themselves as they see themselves as the beginning and end of all wisdom.

What was their first clue?

Newsweek is running a story where McCain and Palin aides were furious at Palin’s outrageous spending at Neiman Marcus and Sax Fifth Avenue. What was reported earlier on the GOP’s spending for her new clothes was hardly a drop in the bucket.

One senior aide said that Nicolle Wallace had told Palin to buy three suits for the convention and hire a stylist. But instead, the vice presidential nominee began buying for herself and her family—clothes and accessories from top stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. According to two knowledgeable sources, a vast majority of the clothes were bought by a wealthy donor, who was shocked when he got the bill. Palin also used low-level staffers to buy some of the clothes on their credit cards. The McCain campaign found out last week when the aides sought reimbursement. One aide estimated that she spent “tens of thousands” more than the reported $150,000, and that $20,000 to $40,000 went to buy clothes for her husband. Some articles of clothing have apparently been lost. An angry aide characterized the shopping spree as “Wasilla hillbillies looting Neiman Marcus from coast to coast,” and said the truth will eventually come out when the Republican Party audits its books.

They called the Palins “Wasilla Hillbillies”. That’s hysterical. Just think, these Hillbillies almost became Vice President of the United States and in charge of the American taxpayer’s money!

Rahm Emanuel: He’s a Chief of Whatzitz?!?!

The Republican Party, gosh I gotta tell ya…These guys are so full of total and utter bullshit that I could swear, their breath even smells like it.

Spotted with my sodomizing and yet, sharp eye, this video clip on dKos of K-K-Karl Rove on Faux Snooze trying to explain to Neal Cavuto what exactly are the duties of the President of the United States ‘ “Chief of Staff”.

Well, the Chief of Staff, there is no corporate role, but in the Chief of Staff in the White House is an honest broker. When the leader of the opposition Party in the House or Senate calls up the Chief of Staff of the President of the United States, he expects and has a right to expect that whatever he says to him will be properly conveyed to the President in an honest and forthright way. And it’s really troubling that, I mean, Rahm is smart, but he doesn’t have the trust and confidence of a lot of his Republican colleagues.

Yeah Karl – Unlike Rahm Emmanuel, who doesn’t have the trust of his Republican colleagues, you were Deputy Chief of Staff and you had all of the trust of your Democratic colleagues. In fact Karl; you were issued a subpoena six months ago by your fun-loving and trusting Democratic colleagues, which you still have refused to participate.

In fact, Karl; on the day you were expected to appear before the full House Committee, you sent your weasel of an attorney who noted that you left the United States rathern than appear before it.

In fact; it is by the good graces of the Democratic Party than the Congressional Sargeant at Arms hasn’t arrested you and frog-marched you in handcuffs before Congress right now!

Karl Rove has become the laughing stock of the country, and the court jester for the GOP. How long before the newest clown-gag will include four hundred Karl Roves climbing out of the VW Beetle while little children point and laugh, elephants beg for peanuts and the pretty girl in the sequined dress trips and sprains an ankle?

Karl Rove has become the stuffed-shirt of the GOP. Hark! I can hear the kilt-clad bagpipers playing “Amazing Grace” over the Republican grave-site!! Oh wait… No! No… It was just a little gas… Nevermind.

K-K-Karl Rove is the punk with a bad comb-over… The great-aunt with the mustache forcing you to kiss her on those mustached-wrinkled lips. …The herpes blister that’s been re-appearing on your foreskin since the days when your folks hired that baby-sitter when you were fourteen years old.

Oh… Sorry. Was that TMI?!!

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

The Minnesota Senate race hasn’t been called, yet. Last heard (The Ed Shultz Show) that Norm The Weasle Coleman is winning by 300 votes. So let’s get the charts out and get that out of the way first. From dKos, the numbers look like this:

In Minnesota’s 6th District, El Tinklenberg has conceed to Michele Bat-shit Crazy Bachmann. Which is tragic to have the folks in the 6th who believe she’s an effective politician. Bachmann’s favorite lunch buddy in the US House of Representatives was Marilyn Musgrave. Musgrave, Colorado’s favorite Homophobe, lost to Betsy Marky who soundly won in a 58% -42% landslide victory. You can barf up your lunch and watch Hardball’s Chris Matthews congradulate Bachmann by clicking here.

Alaska surprised everybody by Ted Stevens’ election still not being called. The Boston Herald notes that they’re counting over 40,000 absentee ballots in less than 4,000 vote lead. Actually, it doesn’t really surprise me in the overall picture: Alaska will re-elect that crook, the US Senate will get their two-thirds majority to reject him and Sarah Palin will put in another Republican crony.

Gay and Lesbians lost an awful lot this election. It’s tragic that the Religious Zealots in this country keep their sheep terrorized and breed their flocks to carry on the homophobia. Again from dKos I highlighted issues I thought were the most telling:

Arizona Proposition 102 defining marriage as between a man and a woman (92%)

Total count of House and Senate seats picked up by the Democratic Party are still sketchy. I found this from the Marietta Register:

In the House of Representatives early returns show the Democratic Party expanding their majority to almost 250 over Republican count of roughly 180 members. This is the largest Democratic majority since the 1994 midterm elections in which Republican candidates won a majority of the House of Representatives with the Contract with America. The larger majority may allow more legislation to move through the House in a quicker manner but that remains to be seen in the new year when the next congress is seated.

At 10:25 last night, the San Jose Mercury News reported:

The Democrats who picked up GOP seats are:

Colorado: Mark Udall defeats Bob Schaffer to win the seat of retiring GOP Sen. Wayne Allard

New Hampshire: Jean Shaheen defeats GOP incumbent John Sununu

New Mexico: Tom Udall defeats Steve Pearce to pick up the seat of retiring GOP Sen. Pete Domenici.

North Carolina: Kay Hagan defeats incumbent Sen. Elizabeth Dole.

Virginia: Mark Warner defeats Jim Gilmore to win the seat of retiring GOP Sen. John Warner

Undecided Senate races are:

Alaska: Incumbent Republican Ted Stevens, convicted on seven felonies in a corruption scandal last week, faces Democratic Anchorage mayor Mark Begich.

Oregon: Incumbent Republican Gordon Smith narrowly trails Democratic challenger Jeff Merkley 48-47 percent, with 40 percent of the vote counted.

Minnesota: Incumbent Republican Norm Coleman leads Democrat Al Franken 43-41 percent, with 73 percent counted.

Georgia: Incumbent Republican Saxby Chambliss leads Democrat Jim Martin 51-46 percent with 97 percent counted.

In the House, Democrats have so far picked up 16 seats.

I’m shocked that Saxby Chambliss is in such a tight race. This shows how far into the Deep South that the Democrats have grabbed. It’s thrilling to see that that Godless Kay Hagen handed Libby Dole her ass. The American Red Cross needs to get rid of her too.

I wasn’t surprised by Virginia, this makes Virginia more Blue than Minnesota: Both US Senators are Blue, their Governor is Blue and I’ve long since lost track of which chambers in the Virginia Legislature are Blue.

Oregon also surprises me, especially since Gordon Smith was proudly running around supporting Obama and claiming to be a RINO (Repbulican In Name Only).

I’m thrilled to find out that Virgil Goode (R-VA) lost his seat to a Republican. He was that Bat-Shit Crazy Idiot who hated my favorite Congresscritter: Keith Ellison.

Trivia points out that this might be the first time, a couple of cousins are in the US Senate, elected on the same day. Congratulations to both Mark and Tom Udall.

Something to note, and I’m late and have to run…. The Democratic Congressmen and Women from Minnesota kept their seats by a wide-majority of the vote. The Republicans kept their seats by very slim votes.
