Gov Rick Perry goes Brokeback Mountain…

Did you get it?

It’s the same jacket the late Heath Ledger wore for the famous gay film; Brokeback Mountain.

In addition to the problems, this has been a problem with Rick Perry’s core volunteers and supporters.  He decided on his own to go ahead and present himself this way – and his homeboys are simply ditching him for the Project Runway disaster…

Ditto Heads: Mary Rassmussen is a big fat Idiot

Here’s Minnesota’s Star Tribune “Liberal Press” at its finest.  Featured as The Letter of the Day, Mary Rassmussen of Farmington writes this piece of work entitled “To understand the real Rush, tune in to his radio show“:

I used to harbor an irrational hatred of Rush Limbaugh. I had never listened to him; I had no logical reason to hate him. I had listened to Democrats’ lies. The Feb. 9 article about Rush continued to spew disinformation. Much of what Rush says, such as calling himself “America’s truth detector,” is tongue-in-cheek, designed to irritate liberals. His comment that he hopes President Obama fails was taken out of context — he just wants Obama’s plans to fail. The writers of this article would know that if they listened to him.

These first three sentances reaks of lies.  “I used to harbor an irrational hatred of Rush…I had listened to Democrats’ lies. Yeah, right; and I have an irrational hatred for Ditto Heads who think Democrats are far more gullible than they are.

fruitfly21But it’s this sentence that made me fall of my chair: “His comment that he hopes President Obama failes was taken out of context — he just wants Obama’s plans to fail.” Ahh!!!  I see!  There’s a difference then?!

You see,  Rush (and apparently Mary Rassmussen of Farmington and her entire Ditto Headed fraternity) wants this Stimulus Package to fail so millions more Americans will lose their jobs.  Rush and Mary Rassmussen of Farmington wants the US Dollar to collapse so a loaf of bread will cost her $1,200 and a gallon of gas will run on the sale price of $6,245 a gallon!  Rush and Mary Rassmussen of Farmington are thrilled  by the notion of Americans standing  in long  soup-lines across this country.  What a joy to know that Rush and Mary Rassmussen hates Obama  so much – that they’ll stand and applaued when they hear the news that millions of children have been turned out of their homes because of starvation and destitution in our country.

Hooray!!!!  And Why does Rush and Mary Rassmussen want Obama’s policies to fail?! Why?!  Because, by jove!  …That’ll teach every damned American that Obama is NO GOOD!  …That his policies are WRONG! And Obama is just BAD FOR AMERICA!

Rush and Mary Rassmussen apparently, don’t want Obama to fail…  Oh No!!  That would be taking Rush Limbaugh out of context!!   No – they just want Obama’s policies to fail.  Because that would prove once Human Leagueand for all that Rush and Mary Rassmussen of Farmington, Minnesota are proud, decent and patriotic , flag waivin’ Americans!!

Fucking dumbasses…  Sheeshe.

And that, my friends, was the fucking Letter of the Day for the Minneapolis Star Tribune!

Oh Thank God! MN Courts define “Family”. Gays, Lesbians…Not so fast!

cleavers13Oh darn it, Wally! Apparently the Great State of Minnesota has decided that I’m not allowed to be identified as a “family”! While the unclean heterosexuals who live on either side of our private home, (including the unclean heterosexuals who live across the street) who are all enjoying coitus un-interrupted, my private homosexual family has been disbanded by the Minnesota Courts.

Thank you very much, Minnesota!

We’ve always counted on your “Minnesota Nice”, and you’ve come through with flying Rainbow Colors!

A Minnesota appeals court judge upheld a ruling on Tuesday (pdf) that found it legal for the Rochester Athletic Club to deny a family membership to a lesbian couple because the couple is not married. The case spotlights an instance where Minnesota anti-discrimination laws — some of the toughest in the country — are ineffective so long as same-sex couples cannot marry.

Okay… So gay couples are not allowed to be married, yet Str8 couples can marry and they can get membership perks from the Rochester Athletic Club?!!

If blacks were not allowed to be married and whites were offered special discounts on linens and fine china just by producing a marriage license – would Minnesota be talking about discrimination in this state?

My stupid brother was married by the Minnesota Justice of the Peace… to a woman, for God’s Sakes. Me? Hell no! I’ve been “married” to my “husband” for over nine years now…(Complete with a dog named “Little Otis” and a 10 gallon fish-tank!) Minnesota gives tax-breaks to my brother that I’m not allowed, and now the Great State of Minnesota has right-wring “activist judges” who’ve decided that I’m not even allowed to be called “a family”?!?! FruitFly 6

Really?!?!?

Where is the ACLU in this case? <crickets> <crickets>

Oh nevermind – the ACLU is still too busy with that Rush Limbaugh’s private pill-popping case.

Pastor Ted Haggard Explains His Gayness: “We Blew It”!

Yes kiddies…! Pastor Ted Haggard’s back again!! Only this time, he’s front and center to explain why his “gay life” was kept in The Closet for all of these years: He was sexually abused as a child.

That’s it! We can all go home now! Everything is A-OK! Nothing to see here! Move on along!! Thanks for your concern! Thanks for stopping!!

Once again we have a conservative Republican, horribly addicted to Meth, addicted to illicit sexual activity with a prostitute and addicted to adult gay porn — Blame all of it on someone else.

I’ve always thought that the first step in any addiction is for the person to fully confront that they have the disease and deal with it one day at a time. I could prattle on all of the remaining eleven steps of sobriety but it’s that first one I’ve always been told what was the most important.

Pastor Ted Haggard, leader of the National Association of Evangelicals, admitted to having a long-term sexual affair with 49-year old male prostitute Mike Jones in Denver, CO. Jones, right before the 2006 elections, dropped the bomb-shell of the century that shattered the NAE, an organization that included over 47,000 churches and over 30 million members nationwide. Jones admitted to providing meth during the weekend-long sexual adventures where they remained perpetually stoned and watched gay porn.

On November 4th, just weeks after the bombshell of a story exploded, the NAE demanded Haggard’s resignation while other prominent homophobic religious zealots scrambled for safety. Uber-Hate Monger, James B. Dobson, president of Focus on the Family, came out swinging with this:

“The possibility that an illicit relationship has occurred is alarming to us and to millions of others,” Dobson said.

“He will continue to be my friend, even if the worst allegations prove accurate,” he continued. “Nevertheless, sexual sin, whether homosexual or heterosexual, has serious consequences.”

While Tony Perkins, chair of the uber-Hate Group “The Family Research Council” came out with:

“In his position as a leader of the evangelical community, this personal tragedy has public ramifications, so we urge that a full accounting of the facts be swift and complete.”

One year later, Mike Jones went on a radio station in Las Vegas and noted that US Senator Larry Craig (R-ID) was also one of his regular clients.

Fast forward another year and 1 week later, and Pastor Ted is blaming an employee of his father’s business for his bizarre attraction towards 49 year old male prostitutes:

Haggard said one of his father’s employees “had a sexual experience with me” when Haggard was 7, according to audio recordings of the sermons posted on the ABC News Web site.

Haggard said he later became “a conservative Republican, loving the word of God, an evangelical, born-again, spirit-filled, charismatic, all those things.

“But some of the things that were buried in the depths of the sea from when I was in the second grade started to rage in my mind and in my heart,” he said.

So, it was some other sexual pervert that made you gay, is that right Pastor Ted?! Now I see how easy it would be to be finally cured! Once I’m “cured”, does that mean I’ll join a construction crew and whistle lewdly at blond chicks with big racks? You mean, all I have to do is kick out a sketchy story that blames some obscure male figure in my childhood and everything will be okay?

WOW!

To think that something that simple and the world would be plagued with millions of little Junior Fruit Flies!

Pastor Ted then went on to blame everybody else for failing to capitalize on the opportunity to use the event to proseltyze the Word of God through mainstream media.

Haggard said church leaders missed an opportunity to use his scandal to “communicate the gospel worldwide through secular media.”

“We consistently blow it when those opportunities arise”, he said.

“A congressman in trouble, that’s the time. A family member gets himself in horrible trouble, that’s the time. A preacher gets himself in awful trouble, that’s the time,” he said, his voice rising to a near-shout.

Extra Homework Credit: Watch the ABC News Exclusive with Pastor Ted’s Story by clicking here.

Extra-Extra Homework Credit: Someone please tell me that Mrs. Ted Haggard has taken an AIDS test. That goes for all of these Republican wives for God’s Sakes! Larry Craig’s wife Suzanne needs an AIDS test, David Vitter’s (R-LA) wife Wendy needs an AIDS test..! These Republican wives are nothing but depositories of the AIDS virus and nobody seems to be interested in noting the obvious. It would behoove Laura Bush herself get an AIDS test too… Let’s not forget that other Closet Queen, Jeff Gannon who was living in the White House for two years…

Oh dear… I’m preaching to the choir now..! What have I worked myself up to..??! Worrying about Republican wives? Ted Haggard?! Why should I care about these people?!?!

There isn’t a single one of them that gave a flying-fuck about any gay man who died of the AIDS virus from 1978-2008.

Why should I care about any of them?

What’s that on her shoulder?!

We’ve been watching the Olympics, on and off, for the past three or four days. There’s been these moments when I see one of the USA’s woman’s volleyball team and she’s got this weird black…”thing” all over her right shoulder:

You see it on her right shoulder?! Pictures are hard to find on the ‘Net… From the front:

See it?!!

Most folks out there are asking about her “tatoo”, mistaking the markings as some elaborate skin-art thing.

From a photo blogger’s website entitled: “Photos of George W Bush “Drunk as a Monkey” at the Olympics“, I found this photo:

Here’s a photo that has nothing to do with my topic at hand – but I think it’s worth looking at anyway. Hail the “Leader of the Free World”!! …Drunk again!!

Good looking black man molesting Bush’s hairy man-boob there… Laura Bush, a.k.a. “The Xanax Queen”, getting the hell out of the way… It looks like she’s got that thought: “It’s time for a Misty May-Treanor Menthol light…Now get the Hell out of my way!!

Anyway! The black markings on Kerri Walsh’s shoulder isn’t a tatoo at all! As a matter of fact, it’s medical tape that was developed in Japan called “kinesio tape”.

Apparently, Ms. Walsh had surgery performed on her rotator-cup some time ago. The tape, a cloth-based adhesive, increases circulation and improves muscle performance that are on the mend.

From Mike’s World:

It’s called Kinesio-taping and is usually applied by therapists, not physicians…it’s pretty much voodoo, but some people get some benefits from it.

That is Kinesio Tape, developed in Japan for elastic support of muscles to allow muscles to relax and keep them from spasming. This tape also acts as a support. It is used in conjunction with the anatomy of the muscle and the use of the muscle that needs support.

I had a bad ankle strain last year and my chiro (who uses lots of acupressure techniques) wrapped it with a very light cloth tape and believe me it made such a difference for being something that didn’t feel like anything at all. There’s gotta be a psychological componet to this as well. ie. it “feels” better.”

Personally, I think it’s kind cool! Blues, greens, GLBT Rainbow Flag colors! There are hundreds of great ideas to do with that tape!! To hell with tatoos! Let’s say; A bald eagle wings spread open on printed Kinesio Tape stretched across my shoulders! That would be beautiful! Then, when after I got home after going out shirtless at the local Leather Man’s Night Out at the Eagle on Washington Avenue, all I have to do is rip that shit off and…WHAM!! … I’ve removed the hair from half my back.

It would hurt like hell for a while I suppose. But my muscles would be relaxed and my circulation couldn’t be better!

Hrmm… Wait! It improves circulation?! Do you think the Japanese have discovered an adhesive tape that would replace Viagra?!?!??!?

…Just sayin’.

John McCain: The Welfare Candidate

This is Gay Pride Week. I’ve been so busy this week with GPW activities I could just scream. My husband partner is no exception; he’s complaining about his Gay Recruiting class size. This year, he has well over fifty heterosexual men who’ve decided they want to be gay, and he’s just swamped. And then there’s the night-classes for the Catholic priests he’s teaching too. Every night he has over 100 Catholic priests that he has to teach on “The Art of Seducing Alter Boys”. That Catholic church has really ramped up their battle against us, so even enticing those alter boys can be rather dicey.

It was just a week or so ago, there was a dust-up over at the John McCain campaign on the subject of Campaign Financing. McCain, according to the DNC is illegally flip-flopping on the subject by accepting those funds and then spending more than is allowed by law.

The DNC has issued:

In order to receive matching funds, John McCain signed a binding agreement with the FEC to accept spending limits and to abide by the conditions of receiving those funds. The FEC requires that any request to withdraw from the agreement must be granted by the FEC. FEC Chairman David Mason made this clear in a letter to McCain advising him that the law requires the FEC to approve his request to withdraw from his contract – a move McCain ignored and cost Mason his job.

According to past Commission rulings, the McCain campaign would not be allowed to withdraw from matching funds because it already violated a key condition for being let out of the program – pledging matching funds as collateral for a private loan.

Typical for Bush and his own private junta against justice in this country; Bush fires the FEC Chair who simply did his job. It wasn’t as if the Chair was a former attorney for the International Arabian Horse Association, screwed the pooch on that job and so Bush appointed him to be head of FEMA. Two times, Bush put David Mason up as his pick for the FEC Chair position and when Mason does his job – and Bush just fires the guy.

But I’m digressing.

What Barack Obama has done is brilliant: He’s opted out of taking $85 Million because he’s confident enough he’ll raise $300 Million before November!

There’s nothing wrong with that, is there?

Obama — at a time when Hillary Clinton was the inevitable juggernaut rolling back to the White House — said he would stay in the federal public financing system if he did win the primary fight, as long as his GOP opponent did the same. McCain agreed immediately. The system gives candidates $85 million, funded by the $3 check-off fewer and fewer taxpayers choose to pay on IRS forms. But that’s the only money candidates who take the funding can spend after the nominating conventions. They can’t use campaign contributions from private donors. Now, awash in private contributions, Obama and his strategists are beginning to back away from his pledge to rely solely on public money.

So, McCain agrees: “We’ll take the public tax payer’s money and stay within the $85 Million as prescribed by law.”

[Handshake] …and “Deal”.

Now Obama doesn’t need the funds – so “screw ’em” he says. “I can raise my own money and not limit myself to the $80-odd Million the FEC mandates.”

McCain isn’t out of the woods:

McCain, meanwhile, took out a loan last fall that saved his campaign, giving him the money he needed for a last-ditch effort to win New Hampshire. He also declared himself eligible for a different public-financing program that gives candidates matching funds, keyed to the level of their private fundraising, for primary campaigns — and imposes strict spending caps in the process. Now that his financial picture has improved, he’s announced he won’t take the primary matching funds. But the head of the Federal Election Commission (a longtime critic of McCain’s campaign finance reforms) said last week that McCain may still be locked into taking the matching funds anyway.

Ooops.

But hold the phone here… Does anybody smell the rotting fish in this story?

Let me try it this a-way:

His (Obama’s) decision makes him the first major-party candidate to opt out of the public structure for the general election campaign since it was created after the Watergate scandal more than 30 years ago. Republican John McCain, after initially saying he would consider opting out as well, said this evening he would take taxpayer financing for his campaign.

Does that help?

The hypocrisies of the GOP is far too often ignored. Take your average John Q. Dolt who proudly hails himself as a Republican and talk about the poor on the welfare system in this country. You’ll get a thirty minute lecture on the laziness of these welfare recipients. And you’ll get an extra thirty minute lecture on the black woman’s status as “welfare queens” who are producing babies just to draw bigger welfare checks.

Where was James Cayne, Pesident and CEO of Bear Stearns, during the week before that company collapsed? Cayne is a champion bridge player. On the week while his giant-sized company was on the verge of collapse; Cayne was at a Bridge Tournament in Detroit.

The US Treasury secretary Henry Paulson said about bailing out Bear Stearns:

Paulson also sought to send a calming message that the administration of President George W. Bush is on top of the turbulent situation. “The government is prepared to do what it takes” to ease turmoil in the financial system and minimize any damage to the U.S. economy, Paulson said during a series of broadcast interviews. The Fed’s intervention “was not a difficult decision. It was the right decision.

It was the “right decision”.

Corporate welfare is rampant, and the Republicans put up a presidential nominee who’s sucking on the government’s teat and yet they won’t stop bitching about Barack Obama who does – exactly what a Republican preaches: He’ll raise his own funds, thank you very much!

Now let me get back to my responsibilities over at Gay Pride. I have some new recruits that I need to gather up from behind the roadside rests and the public toilets at the Minneapolis/St Paul International Airport. The Lesbian Liberation Army has promised my a special word on my behalf to the Supreme Bitch. I’m all excited and wonder how we’ll be rewarded for all of our hard work.

NGLCC lauches a new project: BIZ

Gay and Lesbian entrepreneurs have had the NGLCC in their corner for quite a while now. IBM, one of the founding partners, was instrumental in creating the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce in Washington DC. For those of you who are not entrepreneurs, this subject will bore you to death: So, “Die Already!!”. For those who are gay and lesbian entrepreneurs, this subject is vitally important.

The NGLCC was created as an effort to not only represent the gay and lesbian business owner, but to also represent out interests within the halls of Congress. They were, admittedly, slow at building their base up, but they made a few moves that I thought were sound decisions. 1.) They absorbed all of the local gay and lesbian chambers throughout the United States four years ago and 2.) The created a Canadian Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and, ehem, “partnered” with them which formed a complete North American tour de force.

NGLCC has now launched a new project, an on-line magazine called “BIZ“. The magazine spotlights a particular local GLBT Chamber (first edition focused on the Atlanta Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce) and carries a series of video blogs.

This isn’t their only venture. Some time ago, they launched the Women’s Business Initiative, a clearinghouse for Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered women for networking, mentoring and best practices.
