MRE: MICHELE BACHMAN DESTROYS THE GOP!!!

Poor Michele… She just can’t feel Jesus’ love inside the GOP anymore. After running her mouth off on Hardball with Chris Matthews saying she thought Obama had “anti-American sentiments” and then called for the liberal media to investigate members of Congress for suspicions of “anti-American sentiments”, she’s seemed to have discovered “anti-Bachmann sentiments” coming out of the leadership of her own Republican Party.

First up: the NRCC. Headed by Tom Cole (R-OK CD#4). The National Republican Congressional Committee has apparently decided that Michele Bachmann has become such a liability that they’ve cut off all advertising funds for her campaign.

Ouch! It’s pretty well decided: Michele Bachmann’s hate-mongering mouth is not a course of action that the GOP Leadership wants to invest into…

Compare and Contrast: Fox News dumps Michelle Malkin for being a crazy hate-monger – the NRCC dumps Michele Bachmann for being the exact.same.thing.

From Politico:

The NRCC had reserved time on behalf of Bachmann in early October, but the money had yet to flow to her district. She was not among the beneficiaries of a rush of new independent expenditures the committee made in the past two days.

Pitchforks and the Torches have gathered in downtown Republicanville and they are none too pleased. In a more accurate word-choice: “They’re mad as Hell and they’re not going to take it anymore!!

Conservative Republican (The Pitchfork Family) Amanda Carpenter over at Townhall whined about the situation. Ms. Carpenter wrote with her Crying Towel nearby:

So what does the NRCC do when the going gets tough for Bachmann? They get going. Far, far away from her.

Apparently, since the NRCC didn’t run up and give bat-shit-crazy Michele Bachmann a giant squeezy-hug and then shove a giant sunflower into her machine-gun mouth… Ms Carpenter feels “left out”. Somebody must have decided that losing General Colin Powell to the Democrats was a bigger loss than losing Michele “I Love GWB” Bachmann and finally… Dumped her!

Editor-in-Chief Erik Erikson, a proud member of the Torch Family, whipped out the big stick from out of his ass and called Tom Cole (R-OK) a douchebag!

Let’s just call Tom Cole (R-OK), the head of the NRCC, what he is: a douchebag.

Erickson seems to be a wee upset, but manages to continue..:

Now, in the height of all douchebaggery, he has pulled all funding from Michelle Bachmann’s very winnable race in Minnesota, in which she is presently leading, though not by a great deal.

Why? Because Bachmann had the nerve to point out Obama pals around with anti-American domestic terrorists and other unsavory characters, i.e. she’s echoed Sarah Palin.

…Just a wee-bit pissed off? Earth To Erickson! Michele Bachmann spells her name with only one “L”…Not Two!! Earth to Erickson… Hello?!? Hello?!?!? Oh crap… Houston1 We’ve lost contact with Erickk Erickkson!!

And then… Erickson whips out his own Crying Towel:

But that’s okay. Apparently we have Republicans to spare.

Sarcasm! I like it!! Pouting?! Hrmm… Not so much.

The folks at Redstate run back to Update the original by clarifying to their guppy-headed faithful on why they’re so upset: They’re mad at Tom Cole for pulling the Bachmann support-ads!!

For perspective, Tom Cole has been sending money to Don Young in Alaska. So attacking the Democrats is unacceptable to Tom Cole, but taint and corruption is perfectly fine.

You still upset I called him a douchebag?

For those who are unaware of what he’s blabbering about, I’ll try to explain…

Alaskan Congresscreature Don Young is under investigation for earmarking $10million dollars to Florida to build/improve a road for one of his major campaign contributers. It’s a nasty story…read it here, here, and here.

Placed into context: (Republican) Redstate Editor-in-Chief, Erik Erickson is complaining that Tom Cole (R-OK), Chair of the National Republican Congressional Committee, will support (Heterosexual) Alaskan Congresscreature Don Young…but he won’t support Minnesota Congresscreature Michele Bachmann because she’s crazier than cow-snot on a barbed-wire fence. And, since watch-dog group CREW (Citizens for Responsibility for Ethics in Washington) has declared Don Young their MOST CORRUPT member in Washington, then it’s obvious — Tom Cole (R-OK) is a douchebag.

Get it?! The Pitchforks and the Torches within Republicanville are demanding the heads of their own Mayors, Dukes and Grand Wizards for doing what they should have done two years ago: They DUMPED BACHMANN!

Ugh!! In the immortal words of the Wicked Witch of the West as she melted away…What a world…what a world….

Minnesota local-yokel Republican, Andy Aplikowski (another Pitchfork) has his Crying Towel front-and-center.

Andy weeps:

I am just absolutely amazed at how far NBC is willing to go to cover up for their hack journalists like Chris Matthews.

Like Joe the Plumber, now Michele Bachmann has been more vetted by the mainstream media than Barrack Obama.

And seriously, they dug up Nick Coleman for this one?
I certainly hope the Republican Party of Minnesota is going to get involved now. Pawlenty threw Bachmann under the bus yesterday and I haven’t heard a single peep from Ron Carey. Let’s not forget that Carey is a constituent of Bachmann’s.

The full scale media attack to destroy Bachmann and twist her words is unreprehensible.

Awww… tsk tsk tsk… Poor Andy… He’s got an Idiot in Congressional Representation, and now that the National Republican Congressional Campaign has dumped her, he’s just going full-tilt with a wide-range on allegations:

  • Chris Mattews is an “NBC Hack”?!
  • NBC is “covering-up” for Matthews?!

Excuse me?!

Dear Andy Apilowski:

Chris Matthews is a “hack”?!

Are you serious?! …Or are you really that “new”?!

Seriously. I recall Chris Matthews booty-smooches GOP Crooks like Tom Delay (R-TX Jail Time) while yucking it up while off the air!!

Are you really that New?!?! Matthews is a “hack” because your Bachmann is that stupid and the GOP is now finding that out?!?”

Mr. Apilowski — Chris Matthews has been your best friend in Media – perhaps you’re the Hack-Job here and Michele Bachmann is the Wack-Job over there in DC!

Sincerely,

Fruit F. Fly

Why can’t these Republicans taken responsibility for themselves?! It’s unbelievable!!

Okay all you cry-babies out there… Let’s let the “Mighty Fruit Fly” resolve the dispute for you. Let’s run over to the original transcript and read verbatim what Congresscreature Michele Bachmann said…Exactly

Transcript from the Federal News Service

MATTHEWS: So this is a character issue. You believe that Barack Obama may — you’re suspicious because of this relationship — may have anti-American views. Otherwise it’s probably irrelevant to this discussion.

REP. BACHMANN: Absolutely.

MR. MATTHEWS: So you believe it brings into —

REP. BACHMANN: I absolutely —

MR. MATTHEWS: So you believe that Barack Obama may have anti- American views.

REP. BACHMANN: Absolutely. I’m very concerned that he may have anti-American views. That’s what the American people are concerned about. That’s why they want to know what his answers are. That’s why Joe the plumber has figured so highly in the last few days —

Anything in there that appears like it was as cover-up?! Mr. Apilowski!?! Are you paying attention?!? Did your crazy Congresscreature say those words or did she not?!?!

And about the leaders in Congress? Bachmann says:

MR. MATTHEWS: What about people like Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, the liberals you were mentioning a moment ago? Where would you put them? Would you consider them anti-American as well?

REP. BACHMANN: I would consider them to have —

MR. MATTHEWS: Are they anti-American?

REP. BACHMANN: — far leftist views. I’m not going to say that they’re anti-American or pro-American.

MR. MATTHEWS: The speaker of the House is —

REP. BACHMANN: I will say the speaker —

So – Nancy Pilosi! Bachmann’s apparently not too sure about Senate Majority Leader Harry Ried… But Speaker of the House, Nancy Pilosi – she’s definitely got some of that “anti-American sentiments” in her. (I’m guessing it’s because Nancy PIlosi’s district is in that “Gay Area” known as San Francisco?!)

And what about the rest of the members of Congress?!

MR. MATTHEWS: Well, he’s a United States senator from Illinois. He’s one of the people you suspect as being anti-American. How many people in the Congress of the United States do you think are anti- American? You’ve already suspected Barack Obama. Is he alone, or are there others? How many do you suspect of your colleagues as being anti-American?

REP. BACHMANN: What I would say — what I would say is that the news media should do a penetrating expose and take a look. I wish they would. I wish the American media would take a great look at the views of the people in Congress and find out, are they pro-America or anti-America? I think people would love to see an expose like that.

She’s a crazy person, you Goofs!!!

Michele Bachmann is nuttier than standing on Cashew Corner in Walnut Grove chewin’ on a Salted Nut Roll!

She’s the Acorn…with extra corn!!

Sheeshe!!

I have a question:

Why does Alaska’s governor, Sarah Palin’s husband Todd Palin get a free-pass on this subject of “Anti-American Sentiments”?!

Alaska’s First Dude belonged to a secessionist movement up there in Wasilla called the “Alaska Independence Party”. Todd Palin would be thrilled to personally rip a star off the American flag at any opportunity by declaring Alaska separate from the United States. And yet; It’s the liberals in congress who are publicly accused on MSNBC with (Pitchfork) Chris Matthews by Minnesota’s Congresscreature Michele Bachmann, but Secessionists who hate America are ignored without regard

The Republican Vice Presidential Candidate applauds those who’ll happily denounce their citizenry of the United States – And that’s ignored. But, being a liberal from San Francisco will get you accused publicly on MSNBC’s Hardball with Chris Matthews.

Stay tuned for more on this horrifying story!!! Coming up soon: MIchele Bachmann hate’s Jesus and His Children by supporting Anti-Christian Petters’ fund-raiser Frank Vennes!!!

Fresh Fruit: The State of the GOP

(Liberal) Media these days looks like cotton candy to anybody votes Left and who’s keeping tabs on the GOP. They’re loosing their caging lists, political incumbents are loosing their respective races and in states where it was Easy GOP Country: Well, let’s just say: They’re now leaning into extremely tight races.

So, let’s take a tour around the salad bar and look at all of this delicious fresh fruit, shall we?!

North Carolina

This race I’ve paid close attention to mostly out of personal interest. I used to live in North Carolina (Raleigh and Greensboro) and have many friends there. My former husband is a native Tarheel and he and I regularly email each other about the news coming out of the state.

The incumbent, Republican Senator Elizabeth Dole, has struggled this entire election season against a Democratic State Senator Kay Hagen. Hagen, as it turns out, is a close friend of my former husband, so you can see why I’m passionate about this race. DailyKos has noted Elizabeth Dole is now spending her own money for that race.

Republican Sen. Elizabeth Dole says she is spending some of her own money on her first re-election bid, trying to offset millions of dollars in negative spending Democrats have used to make the race one of the closest in the country.

Dole and her campaign declined to detail how much she has pledged to her campaign, but the commitment came recently enough that it won’t appear in campaign finance reports due this week.

The DSCC have pushed some effective ads in North Carolina which have proven to be effective, even after the Dems though Hagen’s campaign had fallen into a very dead and a very boring uneventful summer.

Polls show she’s likely to lose her Senate seat to Democrat Kay Hagan, after doing little during a single six-year term to distinguish herself. (Even the two years she spent as head of the National Republican Senatorial Committee ended badly — she presided over the Democratic takeover in 2006.)

Aww… Poor Libby Dole. All she’ll have left to screw up is the American Red Cross. Or, was she asked to leave her seat from that organization too? I can’t remember. Speaking of blood; Salon has an article entitled:

Blood in the Water in North Carolina

Republican Sen. Liddy Dole may be a goner, and John McCain is in trouble in a state the GOP hasn’t lost since 1976. What happened?

Florida:

Although Governor Charlie Crist (R) gave Florida to John McCain during the primaries, he’s not interested in being around the candidate now.

Last week, after traveling with GOP running mate Sarah Palin around the state, Crist skipped a McCain football rally and instead went to Disney World. Crist hardly sounded enthusiastic when asked about his plans for helping McCain. “When I have time to help, I’ll try to do that.”

While keeping his options open regarding Palin’s future role in Republican politics, Crist appears ready to abandon McCain.

CQ finishes the article with this simple sentance:

Scaring Crist away could be McCain’s worst mistake of all.

Ouch + Ouch = Double Ouch!

Maybe McCain can get Sarah Silverman to do something to help him, instead of hurting him. Naaaaah.

The GOP Base:

They’re abandoning McCain because of his support of the $700 Billion bail-out. Bush and the GOP created a Catch-22 with this whopper of a spending problem. It was bad enough hearing Bush show up every three months demanded $30 Billion here and there for his Iraq War debacles. But when he showed up demanding $700 Billion to bail out their corporate cronies, it was the straw that broke the camels back. It created a Catch-22 for every fiscally conservative Republican in Congress. McCain bit the bait and supported what Bush wanted, of course. Now the GOP is pissed:

These Republicans declined to speak on the record because they did not want to face political repercussions for criticizing McCain.

“He’s alienated his base,” said one House Republican. “Maverick McCain missed his moment. He could have opposed this and created distance from Bush.”

Another Republican said supporting the bailout would trouble more than members of the Republican base.

“It’s not just his base,” said the lawmaker. “There’s a wide swath of opinion out there that this is not a good deal.”

A third Republican said before the bill cleared Congress: “McCain would do well to remember that Americans don’t like the (Treasury Secretary Henry) Paulson plan and Republicans and conservatives hate it.”

The topic du jour for the GOP isn’t about McCain’s attack strategy, it’s about a “come back strategy“.

…the (McCain) campaign should have sought to plant doubts about Obama’s associations with 1960s-era radical William Ayers and others months ago, rather than waiting until the campaign’s final weeks. Doing so now, they said, makes the 72-year-old McCain come off as angry, grouchy and desperate, playing into Democrats’ hands.

If you’re really in a playful mood, run on over to Crooks and Liars and check out who’ve they’ve got on tape. GOP politicians, all female – watch their heads explode on Larry King Live about Sarah Palin and the GOP. It’s hysterical.

A painful day in GOPville.

North Dakota:

In-Forum hired Minnesota State University of Moorehead to conduct a survey in North Dakota which showed Barack Obama now leading John McCain by two points. It’s a small lead granted, but deep in a Red State like North Dakota, it’s well worth bragging about.

The survey shows Obama squeaking past McCain, 45 percent to 43 percent, a lead that falls within the poll’s margin of error and therefore indicates a dead heat, according to political analysts.
Still up for grabs: undecided voters, comprising 12 percent.

Ohio Republican Steve Chabot has all but flipped the proverbial bird at McCain over his support of the bail-out. Republican Governors Mitt Romney (Mass) and Tommy Thompson (Wisc) both have a fair lot to gripe about the GOP and McCain’s campaign. Thompson goes on to tell NY Times reporter that he’s not happy with his party and he “doesn’t know anybody who is.”

Hey Maw!! I can smell those fried GOP politicans in kitchen from way out here! When do we eat?!

Redstate:

The conservatives favorite blogspot RedState has one of their own ditching his vote for McCain. One founder, Joshua Travino writes:

Finally, the vote for President of the United States: an academic exercise in California, where Barack Obama will surely win by a crushing margin. But good citizenship demands voting as if it matters. Do I believe in John McCain? Not as much as I used to. Do I believe in Sarah Palin? Despite my early enthusiasm for her, now not at all. Do I believe in the national Republican Party? Not in the slightest — even though I see no meaningful alternative to it. So, my choice for President in 2008, scrawled in my ballot as an act of futile protest, is Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana. If nothing else, I am confident this is the first of several votes I will cast for him in years to come.

Awww… Bitter much?!

Hosed:

I loved this piece out of the Kansas US Senate race with Jim Slattery:

Seeing a Republican urinating on the American people always leaves a bad-taste in my mouth. Oh wait: No, I’m definitely not into “water-sports”!

Hate-Mongers:

You know that thing from last Friday with McCain here in Minnesota? You know; he gets booed by the audience when he tells one man that there’s nothing to be afraid of Obama, and clarifies to an older woman that Obama is definitely NOT an Arab..?

Well, apparently – that attitude was short-lived. dKos has a photo of a McCain rally taken today. Apparently, if you say it – you’ll be rebuked. But posters are just fine.

The Jed Report, via dKos, has a video clip where McCain is confronted about these hate-mongers. McCain calmly listens and replies with: “I’ve heard the same thing from Obama’s rallies about me”.

Please! Please email me a link of a bunch of Obama fans who are screaming: “Kill McCain!”, “Kill the Cracker!!” “Traitor!!”

What a freakin’ Liar… As a Veteran myself, you’re supposed to hold some resemblance to the truth. McCain has become a patsy to the losers of “Everything Stupid Who’ve Enlisted in the Military

Please! Please email me a video where Obama fans are screaming “Kill McCain!” Please!!!

Oops… I just realized that the Bush Administration has probably read this blog entry… It has all of the qualifiers that puts me on the…ehem “Republican Black-List”…

<sigh> Dammit!!! I’ll see you when I’ve been released as a political prisoner of the American government…

Secret Young Republicans training compound located!!

First photos are emerging from behind the enemy lines, where their nefarious indoctrination techniques corrupt the innocent minds of America’s youth and prepare them for a life committed to espousing Republican ideology that runs counter to their own self interests!

We all owe a debt of gratitude to the Democratic operatives that have risked their lives to bring us this first haunting photo:

Elephant Slide

Here we can obviously see a seemingly innocent piece of playground equipment that has been twisted by the right-wing propaganda masters into some sort of sick political metaphor…

Undercover operatives for the Democratic Party have told us that Republican parents force their unwilling children up the molded plastic stairs into the GOP’s “Indoctrination Machine.” These children remain inside for up to 48 hours until they are fully processed. The children, once they are completely transformed into a smelly mass of waste material, will eventually tumble down the chute behind the Indoctrination Machine fully prepared to carry-on the Neocon Agenda.

Said one Republican mother after her child was expelled from the Indoctrination Machine: “Oh, he’s still the little stinker he always was….” where she snickered and waddled away.FruitFly

UNICEF, Save the Children and Sally Struthers have begun nationwide media campaigns to save these poor little children before they’ve become indoctrinated into the little GOP shit’s that’s expected of each and every one of them. So please: If you can give anything, please give to Sally Struther’s Christian Children’s Fund. Because Jesus, and only Jesus could love these little Turds.

I found it on Bartcop Nation… So it must be true!

Clinton/Obama Promises Offered On NAFTA: Fact? Or Fiction?

clown politiciansYou shouldn’t believe everything a politician tells you. As with attorneys and meteorologists, politicians are paid to be professional liars. When Bill Clinton was running for President in 1991, he promised to over-haul the credit system and make it a little more accurate and harder to invade from outsiders. He never lifted a finger. The entire credit card system is a disaster to this day and banks are still using it to make decisions on loaning money to their customers.

In last week’s debate between Clinton and Obama, the subject was brought up on their views about NAFTA, the North American Free Trade Agreement. Both of the Senators agreed that NAFTA would be either renegotiated or at least “reviewed”. According to the original transcripts, Clinton said:

You know, I have been a critic of NAFTA from the very beginning. I didn’t have a public position on it, because I was part of the administration, but when I started running for the Senate, I have been a critic. I’ve said it was flawed. I said that it worked in some parts of our country, and I’ve seen the results in Texas. I was in Laredo in the last couple of days. It’s the largest inland port in America now. So clearly, some parts of our country have been benefited.

She continued on:

So what I have said is that we need to have a plan to fix NAFTA. I would immediately have a trade timeout, and I would take that time to try to fix NAFTA by making it clear that we’ll have core labor and environmental standards in the agreement.

Her final thoughts on NAFTA were…

So I would hope that, again, we can get to a debate about what the real issues are and where we stand because we do need to fix NAFTA. It is not working. It was, unfortunately, heavily disadvantaging many of our industries, particularly manufacturing.

Obama stepped into the conversation, first by disagreeing with Senator Clinton’s claim she’s “always been against” NAFTA, but did offer his thoughts on the subject:

I have to say, Tim, with respect to my position on this, when I ran for the United States Senate, the Chicago Tribune, which was adamantly pro-NAFTA, noted that, in their endorsement of me, they were endorsing me despite my strong opposition to NAFTA.

And that conversation that I had with the Farm Bureau, I was not ambivalent at all. What I said was that NAFTA and other trade deals can be beneficial to the United States because I believe every U.S. worker is as productive as any worker around the world, and we can compete with anybody. And we can’t shy away from globalization. We can’t draw a moat around us. But what I did say, in that same quote, if you look at it, was that the problem is we’ve been negotiating just looking at corporate profits and what’s good for multinationals, and we haven’t been looking at what’s good for communities here in Ohio, in my home state of Illinois, and across the country.

And as president, what I want to be is an advocate on behalf of workers. Look, you know, when I go to these plants, I meet people who are proud of their jobs. They are proud of the products that they’ve created. They have built brands and profits for their companies. And when they see jobs shipped overseas and suddenly they are left not just without a job, but without health care, without a pension, and are having to look for seven-buck-an-hour jobs at the local fast-food joint, that is devastating on them, but it’s also devastating on the community. That’s not the way that we’re going to prosper as we move forward.

Sounds like we’re all in agreement with how both of our Presidential Candidates feel about NAFTA?

KOAApparently, the camp counselors from both Clinton’s and Obama’s KOA have already been dialing up the Canadians and telling their Prime Minister that they were just “joking”. You know…”kidding”! …Just “joshing around”. Says the Canadian-based CTV.com:

Barack Obama has ratcheted up his attacks on NAFTA, but a senior member of his campaign team told a Canadian official not to take his criticisms seriously, CTV News has learned.

Both Obama and Hillary Clinton have been critical of the long-standing North American Free Trade Agreement over the course of the Democratic primaries, saying that the deal has cost U.S. workers’ jobs.

Within the last month, a top staff member for Obama’s campaign telephoned Michael Wilson, Canada’s ambassador to the United States, and warned him that Obama would speak out against NAFTA, according to Canadian sources.

The staff member reassured Wilson that the criticisms would only be campaign rhetoric, and should not be taken at face value.

But Tuesday night in Ohio, where NAFTA is blamed for massive job losses, Obama said he would tell Canada and Mexico “that we will opt out unless we renegotiate the core labor and environmental standards.”

Late Wednesday, a spokesperson for the Obama campaign said the staff member’s warning to Wilson sounded implausible, but did not deny that contact had been made.

The Clinton KOA has been peeing in the same swimming hole on the topic too:

“Senator Obama does not make promises he doesn’t intend to keep,” the spokesperson said.

Low-level sources also suggested the Clinton campaign may have given a similar warning to Ottawa, but a Clinton spokesperson flatly denied the claim.

During Tuesday’s debate, she said that as president she would opt out of NAFTA “unless we renegotiate it.”

On the subject of NAFTA; it appears that the only politician that wasn’t lying about the damages it would do to those of us in the United States was Ross Perot. Perot told all of us to “listen for the giant-sucking sound of jobs headed over the border to Mexico should NAFTA be ratified.”

updated3 The NAFTA story is a hoax. According to Political Radar,

During a debate in Ohio this week, where NAFTA is blamed for job losses, both Obama and Clinton said that as president, they would opt out of the trade deal unless it could be renegotiated.

When asked about the CTV report, Obama’s said today, “It wasn’t true.”

Today Bill Burton of the Obama campaign told ABC News no senior Obama campaign representative called the Canadian embassy. “The news reports on Obama’s position on NAFTA are inaccurate and in no way represent Senator Obama’s consistent position on trade,” Burton said separately in an email.

“When Senator Obama says that he will forcefully act to make NAFTA a better deal for American workers, he means it. Both Canada and Mexico should know that, as president, Barack Obama will do what it takes to create and protect American jobs and strengthen the American economy — that includes amending NAFTA to include labor and environmental standards. We are currently reaching out to the Canadian embassy to correct this inaccuracy.”

This afternoon the Canadian embassy in Washington, D.C., sent out a press release to deny the CTV report.

“The Canadian Embassy confirms that at no time has any member of a Presidential campaign called the Canadian Ambassador or any official at the Embassy to discuss NAFTA,” the statement read. “Last night the Canadian television network CTV, falsely reported that such calls had been made. That story is untrue. Neither before nor since the Ohio debate has any presidential campaign called Ambassador Wilson or the Embassy to raise NAFTA.”

The Canadian embassy is pro actively reaching out to the campaigns “all the time,” Norton said, to try to meet with aides who might form the foreign and economic policy teams of any future administration.

“We talk about the whole range of Canada-U.S. issues which we think it’s critically important that the presidential candidates be aware of including the number of jobs that depend in the United States on Canada-U.S. trade.”

The Canadian Embassy says there are more than seven million jobs in the U.S. that depend on trade with Canada.

“We discuss our view that NAFTA has been very good for all three participating countries and has made the continent more competitive in the face of China, India, Brazil,” Norton said.

Dammit. This is what happens when your read that trash Republican “Daily-Kos” wanna-be website. I read this story originally here and here. Redstate is now pushing out the conspiracy theory that the Canadian government doesn’t want to be seen as an agency involved with US politics. Redstate is pushing this YouTube from this link:

FruitFly 6On Blogs4McCain, a blog-site where Nursing Home patients learn how to use a computer mouse and “Monitor” can sometimes mean a “tee-vee” screen, they’re publishing something completely out of touch with the Obama/NAFTA story with this (piece of crap).

I knew I should have stayed in bed this morning. It’s what I get for reading Redstate without wearing my radiation suit and UV goggles on…

The Life and Times of “Eric, The Red”

I think the GOP’s tiny little heads are about to explode, and I love it. EverythingOld Fruitflies inside of their dime-sized world is caving into this nefarious vacuum hole of theirs and they have nothing that can be done about it. On the Dems side; grassroots aren’t too excited about Hillary Clinton. (Except Bartcop of course. He loves the Clintons and Americana life when Clinton was in office. It’s a little bit Norman Rockwellian, but we love Bart just the same.) I think all of us are thrilled to support Barack Obama, Hillary (and John Edwards). …just not so much with Hillary. We definitely need change, in all of it.

Clinton WinceOne of my friends said to me one day; “Actually, having Hillary as President would be loads fun just to hear the Repukes whining and bawling all over again. I mean, the Repukes can only blame themselves with all of their stupid scandals, their wars, their Attorney General crap and now the economy… A return of the Clintons was an obvious result! Life with the Clintons was far better than life with the Bushes.”

And I couldn’t agree more. Bartcop is right: Life with the Clintons was a whole lot better than it was with the Bushes. And it’s a given: I’m not at all pleased with Obama’s stand things like gay marriage and I’ll gladly argue with him about his health care plans. But if Clinton wins the Big Brass Ring, I’ll gladly vote for her.

Republican ElephantUnfortunately, the GOP can’t say the same thing about the Old Goats on their team.

The Reds hate John McCain, and they hate him with a passion.

Face it: McCain’s win in Florida was a shoe-in. McCain is an ancient old grandpa of a man and where do most ancient old grandpas and grandmas go to live? Can you imagine how much fun we’ll have watching McCain go after that “Young Republicans” vote (again) trying to look “Hip”?

How well will John McCain go over trying out some rap music hoping to get that “youth vote”? In four months from now, will John McCain be showing up on college campuses looking like Methuselah wearing “gangsta colors” and loads of Bling?!

YouTube is going to become a mecca of animated shorts mocking McCain. Subjects of derision for his candidacy will include topics about McCain’s:

  • “dentures”
  • “trophy wife”
  • “trophy nurse”
  • “lists of his meds”
  • “Voting Records of the Dead” jokes.

You can fill in the blanks because McCain will be shooting them.

Last night, Eric at Red State heavily blogs while he’s watching the Florida Primaries and the results. I just happened to get a kick out of the “slow-motion” thing. With each entry you can see his hopes and dreams fade away with John McCain’s win. And I loved each and every entry.

@ 8:37PM Eric starts his night off bitching about Bill and Hillary:

Hillary Clinton has the support of both Alcee Hastings and Bill Clinton, the last two major political figures to be impeached by the Congress. I didn’t realize that.

Also, there is something disingenuous about the media coverage of Hillary’s race. The Democrats shut down the MIchigan and Florida delegations because of their calendar placements. All the candidates withdraw except Hillary.

I cannot believe the media is giving her campaign favorable treatment for breaking the rules in this way. It’s asinine.

She can’t win in valid contests so she’s going to invalid ones to win. Pitiful.

“Whatever you say, Lunchbox…” <sigh> Stupid Republicans.

Bitching about the Clintons must be a requirement to keep their Honorary Membership cards. The dumbasses.

@ 8:47PM (Ten minutes later) Eric’s cleaned out his his email and someone’s bitching at him about his hatred towards Ron Paul. (Red State has hated Ron Paul and Ron Paul supporters for months now. Eric of Red is apparently no exception.)

Shame on you for “banning” Ron Paul supporters from posting.

You can’t “ban” the truth – as much as you want to…

You should be scared. It’s a Ron Paul Revolution.

@ 8:54Pm (seven minutes later), Eric blogs again. In less than fifteen minutes he’s realized the winner and he’s decided to open a bottle of booze. Eric the Drunk the Red says:

Can John McCain win a Republican primary when just Republicans vote? We’ll find out tonight.

Here’s your open thread.

Polls close at 7pm, but remember the Panhandle is in the Central Time Zone while the rest of the state is Eastern Time Zone.

Exit polling shows a neck and neck race between McCain and Romney.

[UPDATE:] Seniors, veterans, Hispanics, and those concerned about the economy broke for McCain. Conservatives and evangelicals broke for Romney. A reporter from a major news service has called asking for my comment on McCain’s narrow win tonight.

[UPDATE AT 9:12:] John McCain can win in a Republican Primary and he has. Ladies and Gentlemen, we now have our front runner and more likely than not our nominee. Make of that what you will. Me? I’m turning to drink.

[UPDATED AT 9:18:] The way this is shaping up, it’s military vs. conservatives. Likewise, like with Howard Dean in 2004, let’s strike from the rule book the notion that the guy who has the most money wins. Here’s an unpleasant truth for conservatives tonight, myself included: Mitt Romney will limp on, but keep his stack of silver medals in 2nd place. Rudy is over. I’m still voting for Fred. John McCain, at least, I maintain is probably the most viable against Hillary or Obama.

He’s begun doing shooters…

Ladies and Gentlemen, let’s prepare for John McCain as our nominee. As of tonight, the writing is on the wall.

…Now here he’s pissed that he’s had too many shooters…

And I want my party back, by the way. Apparently the McCain people are reading my last line as insulting, which was not my point (I’ll have something up later). For now, I mean it, but I retract it. Tune in tomorrow for exactly what I mean.

@ 9:50PM (Fifty-six minutes later) Eric stumbling around looking for his bunny slippers:

Tonight was not a failure of conservatism, but a triumph of military voters who have made their home in the Republican Party because we are the party of a strong national defense.

In both South Carolina and Florida, they won it for McCain. In the grand coalition of the GOP, we’ve talked about social conservatives and fiscal conservatives. We’ve all ignored the military voters, except John McCain. And he won them big. His message resonated.

And the man still has an +80% conservative rating. I shed no tears.

In the morning, Eric’s had a really bad night’s sleep. He’s pissed because of all the booze and he didn’t just dream this nightmare. He isn’t dead and there’s no hope he’ll spend eternity with 72 virgins. He writes this piece entitled “Electile Dysfunction“, let’s see if you can detect the dank scent of hangover:

I want my party back. I really do. My party, if you will remember, is the one that fights the Democrats on spending, instead of pushing them aside to get a place at the trough.

My party is the one that is conservative without Michael Gerson.

My party is the one where we can disagree politely on matters without calling each other traitor.

Now, personally, I blame George W. Bush for all of this. You can blame Romney or McCain or Giulilani if you want. But George W. Bush left us with a political power vacuum. He knew Cheney wouldn’t run. Cheney would be the heir apparent. Instead of pointing us in a direction, we had this wonderful primary season that has split the party into pieces.

The GOP has a pattern of going with the heir apparent. The party is keeping true to form by heading toward McCain. It has nothing to do with rejecting conservatism. It has everything to do with conservatives following history and tradition and traditionally we’ve always known who the heir was going to be.

George W. Bush, in his utter disregard for the conservatism of the party, decided to break with past precedent on this issue and we find ourselves in the present mess. Along the way, he also gave us big government conservatism, Michael Gerson, Dan Bartlett, an immigration fight, and out of control spending by his own party.

So now we are left with Romney and McCain.

nelson muntzHA!!! So now it’s George W’s fault!!! HAHA!! You can’t get more entertainment than that!

The Republicans have been the Party of Hate since the days of Ronald Ray-Gun. They have a laundry list of everything and everybody that they despise. And now, Redstate has added the Village Idiot to that very same list. Nothing more funny than a Red Ripe Republican bitching and whining about George W after seven years of insanity inside the Oval Office.

Mister Eric of Red; “Have you recently figured out that King George was an Idiot? Or have you been the True Idiot all along?!”. It’s like bitching about hearing Satanic voices by playing Led Zepplen’s “Stairway to Heaven” backwards and using an 8-Track player to prove your point.

The GOP isn’t a political party. It isn’t even a social construct to reflect a political frame of thought. The GOP is social disease of hatred and contempt for anything remotely related to connected to Americana. They hate our Right toFruitFly 6 Privacy, so they eavesdrop on us. They hate our Right to be Free of Religion, so they give money to selected religious groups. They hate our Right to be Free, so they decide who we are and are not allowed to marry. They hate our Right to be Americans and so they terrorize us.

…And now, they’ve finally, after all of these years…they’ve finally begun to hate themselves.

Redstate Continues to spit on Paulites

Ron Paul Foreign PolicyI actually like watching Republicans kicking each other in the groin. Seriously! It’s like watching Jackass, The Movie III. Better than watching Wee-Man go flying through a wall of florescent light-bulbs with a red -flare rocket strapped to his skateboard…

They hate Willard Romney. He’s a flip-flopper…unless you’re a southern conservative. In the South, he’s a Satan Worshipper, in spite of Bob Jones Jr. endorsing him long before Huckleberry became popular.

Rudy’s just a dirt-bag who uses tax-payer monies to use NYPD as bodyguards for the protection of his mistress and her family. But they don’t seem to care about government waste when it comes to adultry and New York’s finest. Rudy’s sins don’t qualify recognition with the “fiscal conservative” wig-wams, “religious conservative” wigwams or even “social conservative” wigwams. His children will have nothing to do with him and even his fucking priest has been charged with sexual assault.

Fred Thompson geeks are too stoned or far too strung out to know why they support that “Hollywood hunk”. Redstate just loves Grandpa Fred and the rest of Team GOP thinks Fred’s a lazy ass and he’s just in the way. They don’t kick out Fred Thompson geeks, even though Ron Paul gets a 10% better poll rating than Fred-Hollywood.

Personally, I think it’s nothing but GOP Hedonism. Pick on the punk because its easy to hate the skinny kid.

Example: Redstate beats up Ron Paul’s cheer-leading squad.

But I have never in my life witnessed the sort of zealotry that attaches some to Ron Paul.

Can anyone explain this to me? Why have so many otherwise sane-seeming people gone completely bug**** crazy over this flake?

I wasn’t just tossing a cheap joke into the last post. Seriously, honestly: Let us put aside indelicate questions about Ron Paul’s possible anti-semitism, racism, etc. Just let’s leave that be for a moment.

Can Ron Paul’s defenders please justify voting for a man who appears, based on the evidence, to be mentally unstable and haunted by a livable and low-grade, but quite real, case of paranoid schizophrenia?

“Who cares?” you say?

Ron Paul geeks; that’s who. Paulites.

Recently, Fox Noise kicked Ron Paul off their Weiner Roast Forum and the Paulites reacted…badly. In New Hampshire, they tracked down Sean Hannity, angry about being removed from the Weiner Roast. Instead of torches and pitchforks, the crazed Ron Paul mob chased “Sergeant Shultz” down the street equipped with hand-held GPS, IPODs, MP3’s, two Dell laptops and sixteen Sony digital video-cams.

Don’t believe me? Click my favorite link here:

frinkYou might remember, only three months ago – Redstate kicked out the entire Ron Paul cheer-leading squad because they were a.) lame and b.) had apparently seen more flying saucers than Dennis Kucinich on a clear day on the side of a rain forest mountain smoking hemp with Shirley McLain. Out of huge protest, Redstate capitulated and decided to let the rodents back into the rats nest. Once again, the Paulites were happy.

In today’s world; Redstate ridicules the Paulites and treats them the same way as their own King George used to blow up frogs with firecracker-enimas.

In the past twenty-odd years, it’s always been the GOP who’s been goose-stepping their way to Congress and it shows in their miserable success of der klitzeklein dummkopf, “King George”. This election cycle is different. This election year: Watching the GOP makes me want to sing Sondheim’sFruitFly 6 Send in the Clowns.

Don’t you love farce?
My fault I fear.
I thought that you’d want what I want.
Sorry, my dear.
But where are the clowns?
Quick, send in the clowns.
Don’t bother, they’re here.

Redstate is Blaming the GOP for Turning Virginia Blue

Old FruitfliesThis is awesome… From Redstate:

Here’s a case study on why the GOP is failing in Virginia. It has taken me some time to compile this. I wanted to talk to representatives of the various candidates. They confirm what I report below. Likewise, I talked to a Democrat who confirms that the Democratic Party of Virginia did not stoop to the level of jackassery that the Republican Party of Virginia did.

In Virginia, all candidates must collect a minimum of 10,000 signatures from registered voters to get on the ballot. To make it tougher, the signatures must be collected on forms provided by the board of elections and the forms must be signed AND NOTARIZED by the solicitor. Its a big big undertaking.

Once the petitions were due, the state board of elections immediately turned them over to the respective state party chairs. The party chairs have complete authority to determine who qualifies and who doesn’t.

The Virginia Democratic Party actually went out and collected 7,500 signatures for each of their presidential candidates. Edwards, Richardson, and Kucinich all submitted the bare minimum of 10,000 signatures. Guess what? They were all approved.

Giuliani In Dragblah blah blah… and then this:

Contrast that with the Republican Party of Virginia:

Romney, Fred, Rudy, McCain, Huckabee, and Paul all filed over 15,000 signatures each – well above the recommended minimums.

So what did the Virginia GOP do? Well, they did absolutely nothing to help any of the candidates other than put out clipboards at their state fair booth.

Then they decided to attempt some kind of unprecedented “verification” process.

blah blah blah… and finally this:

Meanwhile the Democrats will be on the ballot in Virginia – a state that probably won’t even matter in this process since their primary is February 12th – and they’ll all be focusing on building their ground game to beat us.

The Virginia GOP should be embarrassed.

What’s the matter with our party???????

Keep LeftLOL! I’m reminded of a story I read back in September ’07 when Virginia State Senator Devolites Davis (R-Fairfax Co.)…:

On the campaign trail, Devolites Davis describes herself as an independent, a moderate who can best represent a centrist constituency. At a forum Thursday night before Equality Fairfax, a gay-rights organization, she called herself a “RINO” — Republican in Name Only — a derogatory term used by members of the GOP’s conservative wing.

Republican Virginians have been pandering for votes from the Virginia GLBT voters for the past six months while the Redstate geeks pretend not to be interested.

GOPLet’s not ignore the GOP ballot in Virginia in 2004 when they kicked “The Gays” in the teeth with a ballot that yanked any dismal idea of “partnership” rights between two people of the same sex. That included those business labels like “LLC” partnerships and applying for fishing licenses for trout steams where you and your “partner” needed to buy some bait.

These are the same Republicans who are now groveling themselves in front of GLBT groups happily identifying themselves with acronyms that identify themselves as GOP shit and spit.

Redstate contributors must have ate the lead-paint when they were kids. They’re only about five months behind the curve-ball on what’s going on in Virginia.

In 10 months, they’ll be running another surprise piece on how stunned they are that Virginia elected Mark Warner to US Senate and has become the first official Southern State to turn Blue since 1964.

The Dems already own the Commonwealth’s Senate, and they elected a Dem to succeed Warner as Governor. Virgnians kicked out George Allen in exchange for anti-Iraqi warFruitFly 6 Blue-Dog Jim Webb. Now when they have state senators happily bragging to be called a “RINO”, you know it’s going to be bad.

Really bad…. Psss! …Really, really bad.
