The, ehem, “Lighter Side” of Conservative Republicans

Just a short photo-blog of what these “patriotic” conservative Americans think about our President, and our country. I think it will pull a tear out of your eye and compel you to stand up, put your hand over your heart and belt out “The Star Spangled Banner” at the top of your lungs.

Ah yes… Barack Obama and Adolf Hitler: the similarities are uncanny!!

I’m so old,I remember a day when you could disagree with the President of the United States, but you still respected the person and the position.  Does anybody remember a “Nixon, the New Face of Hitler” sign?  I’m trying to remember if I ever saw a sign that said: “The American Taxpayer are the Jews for Kennedy’s Ovens”!Adele: Make You Feel My Love

Republicans are disgusting.  And they still don’t understand why they’ve been booted out of office and their policies are irrelevant.  Go figure!

Gay Republicans in Minnesota: Where can we send them?!

I don’t understand why politicians vote against their own personal best interests, let alone the best interests of the community as a whole.

But, that’s what we’ve got here in this situation and that’s why I have to write this post as another “Minnesota Republican Exposed”. It’s just sad.fruitfly21

Andy Birkey, over at the Minnesota Independent brings us this tiny blurb about Republican Senator Paul Koering, R-Fort Ripley (Minnesota). Senator Koering is openly gay, but votes homophobic! And I just don’t understand it…

Mr. Birkey writes in a piece titled Minnesota’s gay Republican will not vote for marriage equality bill:

State Sen. Paul Koering, R-Fort Ripley, told KLKS on Friday that he will not vote for the Marriage and Family Protection Act, a bill that would make Minnesota’s marriage laws gender-neutral, allowing same-sex couples many of the rights currently denied by Minnesota statute. Koering, who is gay and a Republican, said he would vote against it because the state faces bigger problems.

The last line is always the tell, isn’t it? Senator Koering is going to vote against this measure because the state has bigger problems.

Really?

Does that mean that Senator Koering is going to vote against, say… School lunch programs too?

The state does have bigger problems than a “School Lunch” issue. Feeding low-income school children is a serious problem for the Republican Party, is-it-not?

Senator Koering (R-MN) adds:

“I think some of the gay activists will be upset with me for this, but sometimes I think an agenda is pushed so far and so fast that people have no alternative but to push back,” Koering told Raw Story at the time. “And I think that sometimes you have to move slowly.

Please tell me – what agenda is being pushed so fast that requires Senator Koering to “push back”?

Would Senator Koering have voted against letting women vote for elected officials in this country? (That was a pretty fast moving agenda, afterall – wouldn’t you agree?!?)  …Your Mom, your Aunt.. ehem .. your sister..  <- They get to viote these days and now you have to reconcile their decisions..

And to think; “Minnesota Senator Paul Koering is gay!” He’s a Homosexual! <-  Brainerd and Ft Ripley folks hate him because he’s Gay and he’s proudly Inferior to the heterosexuals of his districts.  Senator Koering is patsy to the Conservative Christian Elite.

The Stonewall Riots took place forty years ago this coming June 2009.

FORTY YEARS AGO!

fruitfly21Is that an agenda that’s a little too fast for his queasy stomach?! Better question asked; “How much slower should it go?

I don’t want to sound simplistic or sarcastic — but honestly: “Forty years isn’t enough?”

Would measured half-centuries be slow enough?

pink-triangle2It’s been over seventy years since gay men were thrown into concentration camps by the Nazis.

Whether Senator Koering believes it or not: There used to be a thriving liberal and progressive Germans in that day and gay and lesbian Germans were slowing gaining status within Germany high society crowds. In fact, the first modern Gay Rights Activist was Karl Heinrich Ulrichs (1825-1895) who argued that homosexuality was as natural as being left-handed. Adolf Hitler put a stop to all of it and he gave the gay community the symbol we now wear with pride: The famous Pink Triangle, but hung upside down.

Was this an agenda that was … ehem – “Pushed too fast” for the Minnesota Senator?

I’ll ask again: “Was 70 years of political equality enough time for Senator Koering?”

I’m thinking the Senator shouldn’t even be seen around the pink triangle these days. It’s probably an “agenda” that’s just too fast for him and he should push back by just not being near any ping triangle symbols.

It was about 600 years ago when they accused and tied (alleged) witches up to a pyre, surround it in wood, pouring fueling oil over all of it, including the helpless “witches”. The priests and religous bigots would shout into the crowds: “GET THE FAGGOT! GET THE FAGGOT!” The crowds would scramble around and grab any guy they guessed who might be gay, lead him out of the crowed…Expected to be murdered. burn1

The priest and the religious bigots; conducted this monstrous and act would then order these “faggots” to be bound up with kindling wood. They doused their bodies in the same fueling oil and then light all of them on fire. Of course; the screaming and horrified “faggots” would eventually collapse and fall down — -and that’s when the crowds would kick their flaming bodies and roll all of them into the pyre and watch in a delighted horror as all of the fueling oil burst into a frenzied heat. The crowds had to step back because of the ferocious flames, while those on the pier and the poor (alleged) gay guys at the base were screaming in horror. The priests and the religious bigots would calmly lead the group in singing hymns and praises to the Lord.

Little children hid behind skirts while they listened to their mothers, their uncles and their aunts screaming in unbridled agony because their bodies were literally on fire.

The Church spent some paying for new techniques and methods of discovering more “witches”. Two Scottish men were given a decree and money from his Holiness, the Pope — to wander around throughout Europe to look for women who simply had a mole on their skin. They claimed the mole was where the “Devil had kissed them” while they fornicated with Him. All of the females, ages 12 and up, were told to stand in lines, naked from the waste up, and wait for these two Scottish “businessmen” conduct their “inspections” for moles. All of it was necessary, the the Christian Church, to keep their congregations obedient.

Of course, there was never a shortage of “faggots”.

But. Senator Koering of Fort Ripley here thinks this whole “gay agenda” is going a wee bit too fast for his taste. So, he’s going to “push back” because “the state as bigger problems to deal with these days”.

Say Senator! I have one finger that’s sticking straight up in the air – I’ll let you guess which one it is!

Gay Republicans. What’s the deal with them anyway? They’re like… “Jews for Jesus”, or “Black Klu Klux Klansman”… “Doctors for Self-Medication” or something.FruitFly 6

To learn more about how the Christian Church behaved during the Witchcraft Trials, read “Servants of Satan; the Age of the Witch Hunts” by Joseph Klaits, 1985. If the book will do anything; it’ll make you seriously consider the levels of cruelty that the Church will happily venture towards if given the power and the authority.

Gimme s’more a’dat “Liberal” Press!!

vomitNBC, ya know!! Gotta love ’em! They just can’t crank out enough of that conservative propaganda bull-crap! Recalling only two years ago, that it was Katie Couric who had Governor Howard Dean on the Today show trying to make the claim that Democrats took money from that slime-ball Jack Abramoff.

COURIC: Hey, wait a second. Democrats took — Democrats took money from Abramoff too, Mr. Dean.

DEAN: That is absolutely false. That did not happen. Not one dime of money from Jack Abramoff went to any Democrat at any time.

After she heaved her lunch up on Howard Dean, she concluded with:

COURIC: Well, we’ll obviously have to look into that and clarify that for our viewers at a later date. Howard Dean, chairman of the Democratic National Committee, Mr. Dean, Governor Dean, thanks so much for talking with us.

Which of course, she never bothered to clarify for the viewers. NBC, CBS, CNN and ABC have been following in Fox Noise’s footsteps like drunken sailors trying to one-up each other on who can be more conservative ever since.

NBC’s Ann Curry is now front and center spewing utter lies about Obama’s pick for “minister du jur” for his Inauguration Day, Rick Warren. It’s bad enough to have Obama pick that filthy little Hate Monger to bloviate about how much God Almighty hates gay and lesbian people, but to let Ann Curry run around supporting that ass just makes NBC news look even dumber.

Yesterday on MSNBC Live, Curry said about Rick Warren and California’s Prop 8 bill while in a conversation with Contessa Brewer:

CURRY: It’s interesting. You know, one of the answers he has to that is that the pro — the idea of gay marriage was so well-funded in terms of, groups had come forth and had basically said, you know, “We’re gonna fund the fight against this ban,” that he felt that it was his responsibility to come out and say, “Wait a minute. We need to also — we need to create a balance here so that people hear both sides.”

Rambo Kitty

Oh thanks Ann Curry!! You’re such a trashy liar you don’t even know what you’re lying about! Rick Warren never came out and tried to “look for balance” and he did everything in his power to make sure people did NOT hear both sides! What a lying little whore!

I need to write a blog entitled:

“Die Ann Curry, Die Die! DIE!”

Curry goes on (to bury herself in more lies):

One of the issues he said is that, you know, he cannot — he was concerned that there would be an infringement on his freedom to speak about it, because if, in fact, he came out — he was worried that this Proposition 8 would prevent him from getting up on the pulpit and speaking out against same-sex marriage.

Like I’ve said: Curry doesn’t know what she’s talking about. There was nothing in Proposition 8 that took Rick Warren’s Homophobic Hate-Mongering Ministry away from him. Proposition 8 was not a bill about giving out “gag orders” to Hate Mongers. What is wrong with these people?!?

Trust me, people: People like Rick Warren aren’t afraid of anybody or anything taking away their rights to speak about anything. These people will spew their hatred towards anybody they please and run behind the United States Constitution crabbing about their “right to free speech” and their insistence on a separated Church and State until the cows come home. When it comes to the Church legislating morality in this country, they’re all for it.

Ann CoulterNow we can all look forward to January 6th when NBC’s Today show will once again – play host for the Queen of Mean, Ann Coulter who will get lots of air time to promote her brand-new book: “Guilty: Liberal Victims and their Assault on America.” …Because – NBC is run by a bunch of “liberals ” you see.

Coulter has made a number of highly controversial remarks during her appearances on NBC-owned channels. On NBC programs alone, Coulter has called former Vice President Al Gore a “total fag” and has called former President Bill Clinton a “latent homosexual.” Elsewhere, Coulter repeatedly likened Obama to Adolf Hitler in media appearances and in her syndicated column in 2008 and written that, without affirmative action, African-American Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) couldn’t get a job “that didn’t involve wearing a paper hat.” She has also said of Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens: “We need somebody to put rat poison in Justice Stevens’ créme brulée.” Indeed, Coulter has repeatedly mused about potential acts of violence against people she doesn’t like or with whom she disagrees.

Media Matters goes on to note that MSNBC, NBC and CNBC has played host to Ann Coulter and her dribble 194 times between April 1997 to Oct. 2007. Do you think a liberal like Michael Moore has been on MSNBC, CNBC or NBC one hundred and ninety four times?

One of the few good news journalists we have, CBS News’ Chief Foreign Correspondent, Lara Logan was on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” last July. While on it, she was asked if she watched American News. She flatly denied that she does. Repeatedly she said “No, I do not watch American television news.” She leaned in on Stewart and said; If I were to watch the news that you’re hearing in the United States, I’d just blow my brains out. ‘Cause it would drive me nuts.

Ya think?!

In an Op Ed piece in the Wall Street Journal, Bernard Goldberg wrote an homage to Tim Russert who had recently passed away. Goldberg and Russert spent a great deal of time talking about bias in the media. And in his piece honoring his friend Russert, Goldberg wrote:

“Why the closed-mindedness when the subject comes around to media bias?” I asked him.

“That, to me, is totally contrary to who we’re supposed to be as journalists. . . . If someone suggested there was an anti-black bias, an anti-gay bias, an anti-American bias, we’d sit up and say, ‘Let’s talk about this, let’s tackle it.’ Well, if there’s a liberal bias or a cultural bias we have to sit up and tackle it and discuss it. We have got to be open to these things.

His many friends in journalism — the ones who spend their lives inside that comfortable, elitist bubble — would do well to take those words to heart. Facing up to their biases and making a conscious effort to get rid of what Tim called “preferred positions” on important social issues (for abortion and against guns, for example) would be a lasting tribute to Tim.

FruitFly 6Lara Logan is absolutely correct: We don’t have “news” in this country. What we have is bubble-headed bimbos like Ann Curry blabbing utter  jibberish about  gay rights being yanked away in an effort to protect a fat man’s Constitutional right to spew hatred across this country.

And when NBC parades the likes of Ann Coulter out on their Today Show stage to blab about her personal hatred towards liberals, you just don’t get that “Free Pass” on calling the news “Liberal” anymore!  You just don’t!

Thoughts about Michele Bachmann and Adolf Hitler

mexican fruit fliesAs you may already know, I have made a few statements about my feelings toward Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-MN 6th CD) and the rest of her ilk in relation to their homophobia towards gay and lesbian folk. Many of you have made these wild and crazy accusations of what I have said about her. While others have taken what I’ve said wildly out of context.houseflyThis is wrong and each of you should be ashamed of yourself. (Not really…I’m just kidding.)

I have found a way to rectify the situation: I decided to fire my former Chief of Staff. I needed a Chief of Staff who knew how to articulate exactly how I felt about Congresswoman Bachmann over the past year and her tenure as a state senator. Consequently, I’ve hired Ms. Joolee Kwist to be my new Chief of Staff and I’ve asked her to produce a few press statements. Hopefully, this will help understand exactly how I feel about Congresswoman Bachmann and her feelings of hatred towards the GLBT community.

Please remember that if you’re looking for further clarification of my views, you will need to be in contact with my Chief from now on.

Joolee Kwist’s first statement to the public:cockroach

As I stated earlier, in spite of the offense you take at what the Fruit Fly says and believes, you need to be accurate in your accusations, because many people do distinguish between saying a person is “from Hitler” or identifying homophobia as “from Hitler.”

The Fly said, as you quote, “It’s part of Hitler I think to say that this is “homophobic”. It’s anything but homophobic.”

Those words do not say that Bachmann is Hitler, nor do any of the other numerous quotes that you posted.

Hitler, however, is the father of Homophobia.

Joolee Kwist

HUGE improvement from my former Chief of Staff, don’t you think?!

HUGE!Black Garbage Fly

Most articulate in her word-choic… Well, I don’t need to prattle on. Christ knows, if I brag about her being able to exact my feelings about Congresswoman Bachmann’s homophobic attitudes towards gay people, she’ll be expecting a pay raise or something.

I don’t know about you…but I think Kwist is fuckin’ brilliant.

Here’s Ms. Kwist’s second Press Release. It’s even better than her first one. I hope you like it.

I want to set the record “straight” on Fruit Fly’s comments at the 2004 FlyWatch conference that you referred to here. Go back and listen to that again, and you will find that “the Fly” does not say that “being homophobic is like being ‘part of Hitler.’ I have the same tape you have, whoever you are… What Fly is discussing there is the terminology of “homophobia” being used to describe people who are assholes and hate gay people. The Fruit Fly says that the description of hatred-of-gays is “homophobic”, and that hatred is what comes from Hitler.

Get the difference? Homophobes are not from Hitler. Hitler, however, is the father of homophobia.

You may find both statements equally offensive. You need to be accurate, however, in your accusations, because many people do distinguish between saying a person is “from Hitler” or identifying homophobia as “from Hitler.”

I know the Fruit Fly personally, and I will testify to you that “The Fly” harbors no hatred toward Congresswoman Bachmann or to others with whom The Fly has deep differences. Far from it. The Fruit Fly would not make a statement that she or any others with whom she associates are “from Hitler,” much as The Fly would dispute your actions and ideas.

Joolee Kwistmosquito

She’s a treasure, ain’t she?! I mean, how brilliant was all of that?!

If I had to pick, lessee…um, Emily Brontë, Robert Frost and um…Alfred Lord Tennyson or Kwist? Who would you pick? You’d pick Kwist, right? You know it would be Kwist, hands down, no shit. She’s the real-deal.

FruitFlySeriously. I could spend a lifetime looking for a talent like that. On one hand, we have that Writers Strike going on in Los Angeles and finding a good writer is already hard to come by. And here I bump into this little treasure… <sigh> She’s a Keeper!!!

Inspired by dumpBachmann’s latest.
