The Republican Party: Are You A “Corporate Dupe”?!

Notice the difference in the stupidity that’s being presented here: Corporate shills stuffing puppets to boon-dogle insane imagry. The political play is adolescent, at best: “We hate government (unless we’re at war in Iraq or Afghanistan”!
“Ah, Duality; Sweet, sweet Duality”….

The bigger question is obvious: “Where will the GOP land?”

FruitFly 6Dead people in the streets without health care? …Or rich people pulling their eye-balls out with chop-sticks because they have to pay more in taxes?

The cartoon, as it stands, is an icon on the American future: Funding for war “freedom”, health care for Americans is “socialism”!

In Texas, They Raise ‘Em Dumber (Gov Perry Hates Texas!)

fructose_boostGovernor Rick Perry, such a Great American Tejas Patriot, caught more than too many times shouting out his distaste for the country and empty threats of succession. (Although, I”ve heard that he’s been getting booed lately.  Perhaps that’s the results of his Texas-Sized Education System.  Please, let me explain.

Governor Perry’s original pick for Chair of the Texas State Board of Education was originally Don McLeroy.  But the candidate was such a sleaze-bag, that the Texas Senate rejected him without further ado.

You are…The Weakest Link!  Goodbye!

So Governor Hate-America has decided to go one step farther down by submitting Cynthia Dunbar (R-Richmond) as his second choice for Chair. Dunbar currently serves as a member of the Texas Board of Education, and she’ll probably get promoted as the Chair.  What’s wrong with all of this?

She’s crazier than a monkey’s bag full of nuts.

In 2008, she claimed that within the first sixth months of the Obama Administration, will be a planned effort by those with whom Obama truly sympathizes to take down the America that is threat to tyranny. (Since it’s now July, I guess her “Prediction Machine” is truly broken.)  When her critics demanded an apology for the statement, she refused by saying; “I don’t have anything in there that would be retractable.”

But that isn’t what makes Ms. Dunbar so despicable.  Her venom comes from her (fake) education from Pat Robertson’s “Regent University of Law’.  Hint, this is the same “educational institution” that produced brain trusts like Monica Goodling who appeared before Congress as The Bush Administration “Most Lobotomized Witness”. Dunbar’s dispicability stems from her lethal venom to public education in Texas and in our country.

In her book, “One Nation Under God” (2008), she called the public education system “subtly deceptive tool of perversion” and “The establishment of public schools is unconstitutional and even ‘tyrannical. She says: “Because it (public education) threatens the authority of families, granted by God through Scripture, to direct the instruction of their children.”

Additionally, she believes “any person desiring to govern have a sincere knowledge and appreciation for the Word of God in order to rightly govern.”  In other words:  Before you can be elected into any public office; you need to be a Bible Scholar first!

But her book’s section on education goes way beyond the pale by claiming that allowing your children to attend the public education system is equivalent tothrowing them into the enemy’s flames even as the children of Israel threw their children to Moloch.

And this is Governor Rick Perry’s selection to be the Chair of the Texas Board of Education!

To answer your question: “Yes, she home-schools her kids.  That way, they’ll learn to hate American more than Mom does.”

Now, we all know how much Governor Perry hates America, be  we never knew how much he hates Texas!

Keep ’em stupid, Governor!  Keep your Texas kids as dumb as you can grow ’em!  Because that what makes you such a classy kinda guy!

Dead Confederate: RatThere needs to be an “intelligent” conversation, in Texas and everywhere else on the topic of child predators.  (I would suggest somewhere outside of Texas because, obviously…Well…It’s obvious!) If the State of Texas has laws on the books for swift and severe criminal action for people selling drugs on school campuses, or sex predators leering around school playgrounds, now is the time that we conclude that people like Cynthia Dunbar are just as dangerous to our children.

(It’s no coincidence that today’s music selection was brought to you by “The Dead Confederates” with their critically acclaimed smash hit: “The Rat” Click the Fruit Fly, Silly!)

Baptist Pastor Practice (It’s a Gay Fest Without the Drag-Queens)

I had to take some “time-out” time with Jesus’ General and catch up on what that liberal-Communist has been posting on his very heterosexual blog-site.  It’s been a tough-week.

Fortunately for me; I usually don  a crucifix around my neck before my visitations with The General.  Also typical, I leave with a scalding hot shower complete with sulphuric acid bath,  and a quick rinse of glycerin purchased from plastic surgeons selling human fat-tissue in the back ally-ways of Malibu, California.

Check out his “Baptist Pastor” series.

This “Holy Dipshit” is so anti-abortion and so “pro-life” that not only will he kick the ass of any false profit from his living room, he’ll actually finish up his 2-minute sermon with a prayer to God Almighty to kill any false-prophet and send that person’s soul to a permenant damnation in Hell.  (…Because God is Love, and Jesus was a pascifist, of course!  That’s just how his “Holy Trinity” rolls!)

Here’s another Baptist-preacher (freak).  This dude is upset because Pepsi Co., (No More Wire Hangars-Joan Crawford of Mommy Dearest Fame) has donated money to GLAD (Gay, Lesbian Against Defimation).

Pepsi is for queers?  Stop drinking Pepsi because the the company donated $500,000 to a non-profit group?.

Look – you add some vodka to that can of Pepsi and that pissed off Baptist-preacher will have his Underoos pulled down around his ankles  faster than Miss Piggy could find a can of Vasaline and Kermit could pop a handful of Cialis.  The whole image is so gay, I’m expecting someone to show up in the camera-shot and offer me a brown-paper bag to stowe my clothes and join the homo-orgy.

Even the crazy-voices behind the camera exuberate homo-eroticsm. It’s a testosterone overdoes of Crazy.

And finally, a photo that was obviously posted by Senator John McCain (R-AZ) sometime around last-Mothers Day that bears mentioning:

I love it!  “Mom and Rubbers”!

Cucumbers and dill.

Basil and tomato.

Pizza and Beer.

Mom and Condoms.

Who really needed to go there?  Seriously.

Howard Dean Responds To Bush’s Attacks re: Health Care

America’s worst president shows up yesterday and slams Obama about a flurry of stuff.  Why would anybody care what Bush has to say about anything – beyond Bush trying to be a rallying call for the GOP (in the minority) to  stand-up against the Democrats (overwhelming majority)?

It’s nonsense at its finest!

Anyway – Dr. Dean has a reply:

Obama Swats a Fly: Who Will Speak Out Against This Horror?!

It just tears me apart – watching one of my family members being brutally murdered by this President of the United States of America.  Do you know of any other President that runs around  – aimless killing flies?!

Please – stop the killing… Please!

Executions of GLBT Iraqis Expected To Begin This Week

Does anybody remember why we invaded Iraq in the first place?  Our dear President George W. Bush told the public that there were “weapons of mass destruction” in Iraq.  The Republican Party justified our invasion because Saddam Hussein was a “bad man”  – “He killed masses of people in their sports arenas!” they said!  “We had to take Saddam out, the killing just has to stop.”

So, we invaded Iraq.  We killed Saddam and his two sons.  But that wasn’t good enough to leave the country.  President Bush insisted that we had to stay – “until the country could hold fair elections”.  And the rest is history – “we have to stay”, “we had to fight for freedom in that country”, blah blah blah…

How come it’s always easier to sell War than it is to sell Peace?

In September of last year, Gays Without Borders blogged a staggering list of gay and lesbian people who’ve been murdered in the streets and in barbershops (no less).   The religious leaders of Iraq have declared a holy fatwa on all of Iraq’s GLBT citizens including: killing of lesbians and gays in the “worst, most severe way possible.

To make matters worse, heterosexuals who have friends that are gay are being targeted and executed:

Heterosexual friends of gays are also executed. This happened to Majid Sahi, a 28-year-old civil engineer who was not gay but had been helping Iraqi LGBT members in Baghdad. Majid was abducted from his home by Badr Corps members, and his family was told he was kidnapped because of his “immoral behavior” in helping Iraqi gays. His body was found with bullet wounds to the back of his head on February 23, 2007.

According to Iraqi LGBT, a small non-profit group in London, UK, is sounding the alarm that over 128 Iraqi peole have been rounded up and the government has announced that executions – in groups of 20 – are expected to begin this week in Bagdad.

“Death penalty has been increasing at an alarming rate in Iraq since the new Iraqi regime reintroduced it in August 2004.  In 2008 at least 285 people were sentenced to death, and at least 34 executed. In 2007 at least 199 people were sentenced to death and 33 were executed, while in 2006 at least 65 people were put to death. The actual figures could be much higher as there are no official statistics for the number of prisoners facing execution,” he said.

fruitfly21Is this the “peace” and “freedom” that President Bush promised both the American and the Iraqi people?  This is his idea of “freedom”?

The United Nations has confirmed the killings in a report published in January ’09 by the United Nations Assistance Monitoring in Iraqi (UNAMI).

Iraqi LGBT posted this yesterday:

Urgent action is needed to halt the execution of 128 prisoners on death row in Iraq. Many of those awaiting execution were convicted for the ‘crime’ of homosexuality, according to IRAQI-LGBT, a UK based organisation of Iraqis supporting gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people in Iraq.

According to Ali Hili of IRAQI-LGBT, the Iraqi authorities plan to start executing them in batches of 20 from this week.

If Saddam Houssein was so terrible… How is this getting any better?

David Grey, a film director, produced a short-film for the Village Film called “Queer Fear – Gay Life, Gay Death in Iraq“, you must click on it and watch.  It is 9:17 long.

Yesterday, the Obama administration responded to Iraqi LGBT’s news by noting on its “” website that the President is aware of it, he insists the Office of the President and Congress address this issue as quickly as possible.  The piece also noted that it was just a few weeks ago when US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton said publicly:

Human rights is and always will be one of the pillars of our foreign policy. And in particular, the persecution and discrimination against gays and lesbians is something that we take very seriously. It is terribly unfortunate that right now in unfortunately many places in the world violence against gays and lesbians, certainly discrimination and prejudice are not just occurring but condoned and protected. And we would hope that over the next few years we could have some influence in trying to change those attitudes…

FruitFly 6Who is going to take a guess with me by saying it’ll be the first 20 gay people who are executed before anybody from any government does something to stop anymore executions.  They’re all going to sit on their hands until the first twenty are dangling at the end of their respective ropes before the US, the UK or the Canadians do anything to stop this atrocity.  Oh wait!  Who am I kidding?  285 gay Iraqis were killed last year alone!  Why should 120 additional executed GLBT Iraqis get any government to do anything?

Compassionate Republicans: The Rat

From Think Progress:

Unemployment in South Carolina reached 11 percent in February, a “dramatic increase from January’s 10.3 percent.” Five counties in the state face more than 20 percent unemployment, with the highest, Allendale County, at 23.4 percent. Even as he is being warned about enusing “chaos,” Gov. Mark Sanford (R-SC) continues his efforts to block $700 million in federal stimulus aid to the state, a move that could result in at least 4,700 teachers and prison guards being laid off.

The governor of South Carolina would prefer voters in his great state to remain destitute and without jobs in exchange of super-funds from the Federal Government.  Do I understand that thought correctly?!

American (South Carolina families) have garnished enough value that they have collectively become financially worthy of Republican political gain.

American labor (in South Carolina) has become available (sold / auctioned-off)  for the highest prostitution political bidder.

Because if I’m tracking – and I just have to ask: What’s the difference between this kind of brute force dictatorship here in the USA and that of other dictatorships like President Charles Ghankay Taylor, Mobutu (Sese Seko) of Congo or Robert Mugabe?

To repeat :

“Even as he is being warned about enusing “chaos,” Gov. Mark Sanford (R-SC) continues his efforts to block $700 million in federal stimulus aid to the state, a move that could result in at least 4,700 teachers and prison guards being laid off.”

I beg your pardon, but these are Americans living in South Carolina – and their Governor (Mark Sanford) would happily throw his citizenry into despot poverty in exchange for political prosperity?

At 11% unemployment, this political dictator Governor Mark Sanford would happily ignore financial assistance in exchange for the deft approval from the Rush Limbaugh Fan Club.

Pray tell: What happened to the alleged “Compassionate Republican?”

Did he get voted out of office?!?FruitFly 6

The Republican Party is a social disease – They don’t care about your job, they don’t care about your coupon-clippings.  And they certainly don’t care about that knock-off label clothing allowance that you’re currently spending at Myrvins and Kohls!

For God’s Sakes – Please: Don’t kiss the Republicans!

Liberal Press: Caught padding their Editorial “Letter of the Day’ with GOP Trash

Awww – Poor Star Tribne!  Did you ever wonder why the Strib is bankruptcy court?  Could it be: “Pandering to the Right Wing means lower sales?”  Now here’s a newspaper that has diminished itself into obscurity while doing it willingly – with eyes wide open.

In today’s Editorial Page, the Star Tribune’s “Letter of the Day” was written by Senator Norm Coleman’s former Press Secretary, Andy Brehm.  Now it’s the content of that letter that I want to look at, but it’s ironic that the Star Tribune seems to be in the habit of publishing Mr. Brehm’s letters whenever he pleases!  For example; in Jan 11, 2008 – the Star Tribune highlighted Andy Brehm’s work titled Republicans Must Retrun to their Reagan Roots.

Q: “Why would any “liberal” newspaper bother publishing anything from a Republican in the first place?!”

A:  “Because the Star Tribune is nothing but a tool-job for the Republican propaganda machine!”

On April 13, 2008 – Andy gets highlighted again on a piece titled; “Actually, We’d do just fine without Earmarks“.  OH!!  And let’s not forget January 2006 when the Star Tribune published Andy Brehm’s piece “Replace the Dome or Lose Twins“. And then there was that time on Februrary 2007 when the Star Tribune printed Andy Brehm’s letter – Wait…Lemme get it – Oh! Here it is!  Filed by those Communist Sinners over at Lberal Elite blog titled: “Hack Alert: Andy Brehm“. Even Michael Brodkorb, Minnesota’s favorite GOP hack, crows about the Star Tribune’s love of publishing Right Wing Nutjobs’ letters in their Editorial Pages. fruitfly21

When the Star Tribune says Andy Brehm is a student at the U of MN Law Center, can we safely assume that the Strib is actively involved in helping Brehm with his homework too? (Please don’t tell the Strib Editorial staff that Mr. Brehm is no longer a “student” – with his current employer being an associate over at Dorsey & Whitney LLP.) Is it any wonder that Andy Brehm’s Facebook page lists the Minneapolis Star Tribune has one of his favorite “Products”?  The Star Tribune’s over-exposure would garnish him a far better pay-grade than he’s worth?!

Andy Brehm on a good day

Andy Brehm on a good day

Today is nothing new in this “news” paper.  Andy Brehm gets published as the Star Tribune’s “Darling of the Day” with this piece of garbage:

In his Tuesday night news conference, President Obama responded to questions about the colossal impact his budget will have on the federal debt the same way he always does: remind Americans that he inherited the current budget shortfall and that some Republicans critical of his deficit spending advocated in favor of President Bush’s. We’ve heard this again and again, and we get it, Mr. Obama. The previous administration was not particularly conservative when it came to fiscal matters, and recovering big spenders like Mitch McConnell and John Boehner are not ideal spokesmen for the GOP on this one. I think most Republicans would agree. I certainly do.

But this is 2009, not 2008. Obama is no longer a candidate, he is the president. His insistence on arrogantly brushing aside serious and legitimate questions about his ballooned budget with political potshots is irresponsible at best, and cowardly at worst. The truth of the matter is that under the president’s proposed budget plan the national debt would more than double over the next decade, adding $9.3 trillion in red ink to Washington’s balance sheets by 2019. In fact, Obama’s budget would create more federal debt than that produced by all of his 43 presidential predecessors, combined. No commander in chief in American history has proposed doing this much damage to the national bottom line.

It’s clear that Obama, who seems to embrace liberal European-style economic initiatives, wishes to take this country in a drastically different direction. I’m not a sore loser; he won the election in November and has every right to pursue an agenda of his choosing. But he also owes those of us deeply concerned with his feckless fiscal policies a better explanation than simply pointing to the past. Younger citizens like me who will have to pay for the White House’s proposed short-term spending spree throughout our lifetimes deserve more details and less demagoguery.

Can you smell the hypocracy from across town?

He’s got all of the sexy buzzwords embedded into the piece too: “liberal”, “European-style economic initiatives”, “ballooned budget”, and “deficit spending”.  Why, it seems that the Star Tribune would once again – give Law Student Andy Brehm an A-Plus and three gold stars!

On October 6, 2006, Senator John McCain, who was the GOP’s Presidential hopeful at the time, blamed President Clinton for North Korea’s sub-mountain nuclear explosion.  McCain said:

I would remind Senator Clinton and other Democrats critical of Bush administration policies that the framework agreement her husband’s administration negotiated [with North Korea] was a failure. Every single time the Clinton administration warned the Koreans not to do something—not to kick out the IAEA inspectors, not to remove the fuel rods from their reactor—they did it. And they were rewarded every single time by the Clinton administration with further talks.

To Diane Sawyer of ABC News, McCain threw the Clintons under the bus with:

“Having said that, during the Clinton administration years, here we concluded an unenforceable and untransparent agreement, which allowed [North Korea] to keep plutonium rods in a reactor … in order to make them nuclear material,” McCain said. “[His negotiations] would put them on the path to develop nuclear weapons. … And we did nothing but more talk.”

Fox Trash quoted McCain by saying:

“I would remind Senator (Hillary) Clinton and other Democrats critical of the Bush administration’s policies that the framework agreement her husband’s administration negotiated was a failure,”

Fox Trash follows up with this little gem:

The agreement to which McCain referred was the 1994 U.S.-North Korean Agreed Framework which called for the construction of two light water reactors in North Korea and the delivery of large quantities of heavy oil to help meet energy demand. In exchange, the North agreed to allow in U.N. inspectors

But the agreement collapsed in 2002 when North Korea decided to revive activity at a nuclear plant which had been frozen as part of the 1994 agreement. U.N. inspectors who had monitored the freeze were then expelled.

Oops… The agreement that was built between the Clinton Administration and North Korea collapsed under Bush’s watch – But Clinton deserves to get blamed anyway.

FruitFly 6Let’s re-group for all of the GOP readers out there who are a little slow:  The Clinton Administration has been gone for six years and the Republicans are still blaming him for the world’s problems, but Andy Brehm is bawling about the Obama Administration blaming Bush only two months after the Bush Administration is gone?   And this my friends – wins the Star Tribune’s “Letter of the Day”!

Compare and Contrast: “Six Years” versus “Two Months”.  Compare and Contrast…

Depression: We’re on the brink!

Give ol’ Arlen Specter credit for his honesty. Not a lot of Republicans out there who can do that these days! Compare Specter’s words here to Michele Bachmann’s latest screech: “We’re running out of rich people in this country!!!” Not a lot of honest Republicans with a real pair of cajones willing to be up front and honest with the American public.

I feel like I’m living in 1928 and we’re all sitting on a braided rug in our grandparents living room floor and we’re all focused on a giant-sized AM radio while the President gives us this bad-news.Little River Band; Lonesom Loser
